Fibre-First Switching for AV over IP
The NETGEAR M4350-24F4X is a 28-port fully managed switch with twenty-four SFP ports that accept 100M, 1G and 2.5G transceivers, plus four 10G combo ports that can be used as 10GBASE-T copper or 10G SFP+ fibre. It suits AV-over-IP installations where endpoints and racks are connected over fibre.
Redundant Power Option
A 240W internal power supply is built in, and a modular power supply slot accepts an APS600Wv3, APS1200Wv2 or APS2000Wv2 module for power redundancy. This is a non-PoE model.
Quiet, Compact 1U Design
The M4350-24F4X is a full-width 1U switch, 400 mm deep, rated at 30 dBA in Quiet Mode at 25°C ambient, so it can sit close to production areas and control rooms.
Built for AV over IP
NETGEAR IGMP Plus, the NETGEAR AV user interface and the NETGEAR Engage Controller simplify multicast setup. The switch supports AVB, and SMPTE ST 2110 Grandmaster and Boundary Clock modes for AES67 and SMPTE ST 2059-2. Static, policy-based and dynamic routing are included, and Virtual Chassis stacking provides non-stop forwarding and hitless failover.

Compatibility & Software Support
Power Supplies
The modular power supply slot accepts APS600Wv3 (APS600W-300NES), APS1200Wv2 (APS1200W-200NES) and APS2000Wv2 (APS2000W-200NES). The built-in 240W supply powers the switch on its own; a modular PSU adds redundancy.
Transceivers
The 24 SFP ports accept 100M, 1G and 2.5G SFP transceivers, for example NETGEAR AGM731F 1000BASE-SX multimode, AGM732F 1000BASE-LX single-mode and AGM734 1000BASE-T copper. The four combo ports take 10G or 1G SFP+ modules such as NETGEAR AXM761 10GBASE-SR, AXM762 10GBASE-LR, AXM763 10GBASE-LRM, AXM764 10GBASE-LR Lite and AXM765v2 10GBASE-T copper, or can be used as 10GBASE-T copper ports.
Management
Web browser GUI (HTTPS) including the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured AV profiles, plus CLI via Telnet and SSH, SNMP and MIBs. A USB Type-C console port on the front and a 1G out-of-band management port on the rear are provided.
NETGEAR Engage Controller
The switch can be managed with the NETGEAR Engage Controller for AV-over-IP deployments.
AV Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast, AVB, and SMPTE ST 2110 Grandmaster and Boundary Clock modes for AES67 and SMPTE ST 2059-2. NETGEAR notes that stacking, AVB and PTP Transparent Clock are mutually exclusive: a stack cannot run AVB or PTP TC.
