25G Access and 100G Uplinks in 1U
The NETGEAR M4350-16V4C is a full-width 1U fully managed switch with 16x 10G/25G SFP28 ports and 4x 40G/100G QSFP28 ports. It delivers 1.6 Tbps of switching capacity and 1,190.4 Mpps line-rate throughput with a 256Mb packet buffer.
Low Latency for Media Networks
NETGEAR specifies latency below 1.08µs at 25G and below 1.13µs at 100G. The switch supports SMPTE ST 2110 with PTP Boundary Clock and Grandmaster Clock modes for SMPTE ST 2059-2 and AES67 profiles, as well as AVB.
Redundant Power
A fixed internal 420W power supply is complemented by one modular slot for 1+1 redundancy, taking the APS600Wv3, APS1200Wv2 or APS2000Wv2.
Managed the AV Way
NETGEAR IGMP Plus, the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured profiles and the NETGEAR Engage Controller simplify multicast setup. Static, policy-based and dynamic routing are included, and Virtual Chassis stacking provides non-stop forwarding and hitless failover.

Power Supplies
The modular slot accepts NETGEAR APS600Wv3 (APS600W-300NES), APS1200Wv2 (APS1200W-200NES) and APS2000Wv2 (APS2000W-200NES) power supplies.
Transceivers
The SFP28 ports run at 10G or 25G and the QSFP28 ports at 40G or 100G. NETGEAR's datasheet notes that in Ethernet mode each block of 4x 25G ports is connected to a 100G SERDES. NETGEAR 10G SFP+ modules available from SourceIT include AXM761 10GBASE-SR (AXM761-10000S), AXM762 10GBASE-LR (AXM762-10000S), AXM763 10GBASE-LRM (AXM763-10000S) and AXM764 10GBASE-LR Lite (AXM764-10000S); check NETGEAR's compatibility list or ask us to confirm before ordering.
Management
Web browser GUI including the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured AV profiles, plus CLI and SNMP. A USB Type-C console port is provided and the console cable is included.

AV Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast, AVB, and SMPTE ST 2110 PTP Boundary Clock and Grandmaster Clock modes with SMPTE ST 2059-2, AES67 and AES-R16-2016 profiles. NETGEAR notes that stacking, AVB and PTP are mutually exclusive: a stack cannot run AVB, PTP TC or BC/GM.
