40 SFP+ Fibre Ports with 100G Uplinks
The NETGEAR M4350-40F4C is a 44-port, full-width 1U fully managed switch with forty 10G SFP+ ports and four 40G/100G QSFP28 ports. A 1.6 Tbps switching fabric, 1190.4 Mpps throughput and a 256Mb packet buffer suit it to fibre aggregation and AV-over-IP distribution cores.
Redundant Power
A fixed internal 420W power supply runs the switch, and a modular power slot accepts an APS600Wv3, APS1200Wv2 or APS2000Wv2 module for 1+1 power redundancy.
Built for AV and Broadcast over IP
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast, the AV-optimised web interface with pre-configured AV profiles and the NETGEAR Engage Controller simplify multicast setup. The switch supports AVB, SMPTE ST 2110 Grand Master and Boundary Clock, jumbo frames up to 12KB, and static, policy-based and dynamic routing.
Virtual Chassis Stacking
The QSFP28 ports can be used for Virtual Chassis stacking at 100G with non-stop forwarding and hitless failover, so several switches are managed as one.

Compatibility & Software Support
Power Supplies
The modular power slot accepts the following NETGEAR power supplies: APS600Wv3 (APS600W-300NES), APS1200Wv2 (APS1200W-200NES) and APS2000Wv2 (APS2000W-200NES). Any of these, together with the internal 420W supply, gives 1+1 power redundancy.
Fibre Ports
The 40 SFP+ ports take 10G SFP+ modules. The four QSFP28 ports take 40G QSFP+ or 100G QSFP28 modules; in stacking mode they run at 100G.
Management
Web browser GUI (HTTPS) including the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured AV profiles, plus CLI via Telnet and SSH, SNMP and MIBs. A USB Type-C console port on the front and a 1G out-of-band management port on the rear are provided.
NETGEAR Engage Controller
The switch can be managed with the NETGEAR Engage Controller for AV-over-IP deployments.
AV and Broadcast Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast and AVB, up to 500 AVB streams per switch (AVB is not available in stacking mode). NETGEAR lists SMPTE ST 2110 Grand Master Clock and Boundary Clock support for AES67 and ST 2059-2 applications on this model.

Does the M4350-40F4C support PoE?
No. It is an all-fibre switch without PoE. For 40 Multi-Gig PoE++ copper ports with the same 100G uplinks, see the M4350-40X4C (XSM4344C).
