Gigabit Fibre Links up to 10 km
The NETGEAR AGM732F is a 1000BASE-LX SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver that drives Gigabit Ethernet up to 10 km over 9/125 µm single-mode fibre. It is the module to use for long building-to-building and campus backbone links from NETGEAR managed and smart switches.
Standards-Based Optics
The module complies with IEEE 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet and the SFP MSA, operates at 1310 nm and is a Class 1 laser product under IEC 60825-1. It uses a standard LC duplex connector.
Low Power, Hot-Swappable
At 1.1 W power consumption and with an MTBF of more than 10 years according to NETGEAR, the AGM732F is RoHS compliant and UL 60950-1 / CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1 certified. NETGEAR switches detect it automatically when it is inserted.

NETGEAR states the AGM732F fits the SFP interfaces of all NETGEAR Fully Managed switches, all Smart switches and the JGS524F, and meets the SFP GBIC standard for use in any SFP GBIC-compliant slot. It is also listed as a supported Gigabit SFP module in the NETGEAR M7100 series datasheet.

Use the AGM732F on single-mode fibre up to 10 km. For multimode fibre up to 550 m choose the AGM731F.
