Balanced 10G Copper and Fibre in a Half-Width Chassis
The NETGEAR M4350-12X12F is a 24-port fully managed switch with 12 RJ-45 ports running at 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G or 10G and 12 SFP+ ports running at 10G, with 1G supported on ports 13-20. The half-width 1U chassis lets you install one switch, or two side by side in a single rack space using the included pairing kit.
Non-Blocking 480 Gbps Performance
A 480 Gbps switching fabric and 357.12 Mpps forwarding rate keep every port at wire speed. Latency is under 0.72µs on 10G fibre, with a 32Mb packet buffer, a quad-core 1.8GHz ARM CPU and 2GB of memory.
Built for AV over IP
The dedicated NETGEAR AV web interface provides pre-configured profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NVX, NDI, SDVoE and other AV-over-IP systems. NETGEAR IGMP Plus simplifies multicast setup, NETGEAR lists AVB support for this model, and the NETGEAR Engage Controller manages AV and IT switches from one place.
Layer 3 Routing and Virtual Chassis Stacking
Static, policy-based and dynamic routing (RIP and OSPF) are included, and Virtual Chassis stacking provides non-stop forwarding and hitless failover. A fixed internal 240W power supply and a Quiet Mode fan profile (34.34 dBA at 25°C) suit installations close to people.

Compatibility & Software Support
SFP+ and SFP Transceivers
All 12 SFP+ ports run at 10G, and ports 13-20 also run at 1G. SFP modules and cables are sold separately. NETGEAR 10G SFP+ transceivers available from SourceIT include AXM761 10GBASE-SR multimode (AXM761-10000S), AXM761P10 10GBASE-SR multimode 10-pack (AXM761P10-10000S), AXM762 10GBASE-LR single-mode (AXM762-10000S), AXM763 10GBASE-LRM multimode (AXM763-10000S) and AXM764 10GBASE-LR Lite single-mode (AXM764-10000S). For 1G links on ports 13-20, NETGEAR 1G SFP transceivers include AGM731F 1000BASE-SX multimode (AGM731F) and AGM732F 1000BASE-LX single-mode (AGM732F).
Power
Power is provided by a single fixed internal 240W supply with a C14 inlet; no external power modules are required. This model has fixed ports and no modular slot, so APM414 interface cards are not used.
Management
Web browser GUI including the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured AV profiles, plus the main NETGEAR IT web interface, CLI, SNMP, sFlow and RSPAN. A USB Type-C console port on the front and a 1G out-of-band management port on the rear are provided.
NETGEAR Engage Controller
The switch can be managed with the NETGEAR Engage Controller for AV-over-IP deployments.
AV Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast and AVB (IEEE 802.1BA, 802.1AS gPTP, 802.1Qav, 802.1Qat), with AV profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NVX, AMX, IPMX, NDI, SDVoE and others. SMPTE ST 2110 PTP Boundary Clock and Grandmaster modes are listed by NETGEAR only for other M4350 models, not the M4350-12X12F. NETGEAR notes that stacking and AVB are mutually exclusive: a stack cannot run AVB.

Do the SFP+ ports support 1G modules?
All 12 SFP+ ports run at 10G. 1G SFP modules are supported on ports 13-20 only.
Can I fit two switches in one rack unit?
Yes. The M4350-12X12F is a half-width 1U switch, and the included pairing kit lets you mount two half-width M4350 switches side by side in a single rack space.
Does it provide PoE?
No. This model has no PoE. For 10G PoE, see the M4350-24X4V or M4350-36X4V in the series table above.
Does it support SMPTE ST 2110 PTP?
NETGEAR lists SMPTE ST 2110 Boundary Clock and Grandmaster modes only for the M4350-8M2V, 16M4V, 24M4X4V, 24F4X, 16V4C, 40X4C, 40F4C and 16C, not the M4350-12X12F. It does support AVB and NETGEAR IGMP Plus for Dante, AES67 and other AV-over-IP systems.
