Compact 2.5G PoE++ Switching for AV and Edge Deployments
The NETGEAR M4350-8M2V is a fully managed switch with eight 100M/1G/2.5G PoE++ ports and two 10G/25G SFP28 uplinks. Its half-width, 1U form factor lets you mount one or two switches in a single rack space, which suits control rooms, stage racks and equipment closets where space is tight.
PoE Budget That Scales with Your Project
The switch ships with one APS254W external power adapter for a 119W PoE budget. It has three DC connectors, so you can add APS254W adapters to raise the budget to 322W with two adapters and 551W with three. Ultra90 PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) ports are backward compatible with 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+ devices and support 60W, 75W and 90W 802.3bt loads.
Built for AV over IP
NETGEAR IGMP Plus, NETGEAR AV OS and the NETGEAR Engage Controller simplify multicast video and audio setup. The switch supports AVB, and SMPTE ST 2110 Grandmaster and Boundary Clock modes for SMPTE ST 2059-2 and AES67 workflows. A multi-colour LED on each port shows the colour of the AV profile applied to it.
Layer 3 Features and Virtual Chassis Stacking
Static, policy-based and dynamic routing are included. Virtual Chassis stacking combines up to eight M4350 switches into one logical switch using 10G, 25G or 100G ports, with non-stop forwarding (NSF) and hitless failover.

Compatibility & Software Support
Power Adapters
Compatible with the NETGEAR APS254W external power adapter, up to three per switch. One APS254W is included in the box.
Uplinks
The two SFP28 ports are fixed on the front panel and accept 10G or 25G connections. This model does not have a modular interface card slot.
Management
Web browser GUI (HTTPS) including the NETGEAR AV user interface with pre-configured AV profiles, plus CLI via Telnet and SSH, SNMP and MIBs. A USB Type-C console port on the front and a 1G out-of-band management port on the rear are provided.
NETGEAR Engage Controller
The switch can be managed with the NETGEAR Engage Controller for AV-over-IP deployments.
AV Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus enhanced multicast, AVB (IEEE 802.1AS), PTPv2 Transparent Clock, and SMPTE ST 2110 Grandmaster and Boundary Clock modes with one BC/GM PTP profile active at a time (SMPTE ST 2059-2, AES67 or AES-R16-2016). NETGEAR notes that stacking, AVB and PTP Transparent Clock are mutually exclusive: a stack cannot run AVB or PTP TC.
