The Epson EB-1485Fi is an interactive, ultra short throw projector that will engage the class and create a really sharp, bright image. With a short throw ratio, the EB-1485Fi will mount on the wall just above the image, and would be best projecting onto a matt dry wipe board. The mounting bracket is included in the box. There are a few advantages to ultra short throw including no shadows on the screen, and also the fact that the teacher doesn't have to look into the lens of the projector. They're easier to install and access too which is really helpful.

This is great for collaborating with the students and is an extra tool for them to get hands on with the teaching material and to aid their learning. At a bright 4000 lumens, this projector will display a very bright image even in the lightest of rooms, with the lights on - keeping a safe working environment - but it also has Eco features and will allow you to turn the brightness down if necessary when it is slightly darker. You will be able to project to a large audience with this level of brightness. The Full HD resolution is perfect for connecting to modern laptops and desktop computers via either HDMI, VGA or USB, and will comfortably project videos, presentations and spreadsheets in fine detail. This unit has 3 HDMI ports!

The high contrast ratio is brilliant as it will bring out the blacks from the whites and give you great depth. The 16W speaker is impressive too, and is plenty for even a large classroom, so no need for any additional speakers - saving money.
