The EV-110 LightScene is designed to disappear into a fitted-out space. Its projection head is a cylindrical Φ175 x 260 mm spotlight body that mounts on a lighting track, a wall, a ceiling or the optional floor stand, with the power supply unit as a separate 361 x 110 x 65 mm box that can be hidden above a ceiling or inside a joinery unit. Retailers, F&B operators, museums and hotel designers can therefore add moving content to a wall, a table, a product plinth or a display case without anything that looks like AV equipment appearing in the room.
2,200 Lumens of 3LCD Laser Light With Over 5,000,000:1 Contrast
Epson rates the EV-110 at 2,200 lumens of white light output and 2,200 lumens of colour light output, with a contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1 from a WXGA 0.59-inch 3LCD panel. The matched white and colour figures matter for merchandising work: brand colours, fabric and food photography hold their saturation instead of drifting pale, which is the usual failing of single-chip projectors used for signage. Quiet mode drops output to 1,100 lumens where a darker environment or a shorter throw calls for it.
Sensor-Triggered Content Through the GPI Interface
The USB Type-A port doubles as a two-channel general purpose interface input, so a motion sensor, a lift-and-learn switch or a door contact can trigger a change of content on the projector itself — no media player, no PC and no separate control system. Content is held on an SD card (SDHC up to 32 GB, Class 10 or better) or pushed over the network, and the built-in contents player handles playlists, scheduled timetables and SD viewer playback of Motion JPEG video and JPEG, PNG, GIF and BMP stills. For a shopfront window or a gallery exhibit, that is the whole installation in one device.
Flexible Optics, Edge Blending and 20,000 Hours of Maintenance-Free Operation
A 1.38 – 2.19:1 throw ratio with powered zoom and focus covers 30 to 150 inches, and vertical and horizontal keystone of ±45° and ±40° plus Quick Corner and edge blending let several units cover a long wall or an irregular surface. The sealed laser engine is rated at 20,000 hours in normal and quiet modes and 30,000 hours in extended mode, with no lamp or filter service in between — important when the projector is on a track four metres up. Start-up is under nine seconds and shutdown is instant, which suits retail spaces on a timed power schedule.

Mounting and orientation
The EV-110 is a two-part system: a cylindrical projection head and a separate power supply unit that can be concealed. The head mounts on a standard lighting track using ELPMB66W or ELPMB66B, or stands on the floor with ELPMB55W, and can also be wall or ceiling fixed. It is designed to be aimed like a spotlight, including steeply downward onto tables, plinths and floors. Epson publishes an approximate weight of 6.9 kg for the main unit together with the direct mount unit, so plan the track or bracket loading on that basis rather than on the head alone.
What it connects to
One HDMI input takes a media player, a signage PC or a laptop. Content can equally live on the projector: an SD card slot (SDHC up to 32 GB, Class 10 or better) feeds the built-in playlist and timetable player. The USB Type-A port serves either as a two-channel GPI sensor input or as a 5 V / 2 A power supply for a small accessory, and USB Type-B is used for firmware updates. Audio goes out over a stereo mini jack or wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers.
Network and content management
A 100 Mbps RJ45 port and built-in dual-band wireless (802.11b/g/n on 2.4 GHz, 802.11a/n on 5 GHz) support both infrastructure and access point modes, with WPA2/WPA3-PSK and enterprise WPA2/WPA3-EAP security including PEAP, PEAP-TLS, EAP-TLS and EAP-Fast. Content can be uploaded over the network or by SD card, and the Epson Creative Projection App is available for creating and sending content.
