Epson EB-L210SF Wireless Full HD Short Throw Laser Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-L210SF Wireless Full HD Short-Throw 3LCD Laser Projector (V11HA75080) - Local Warranty
A 125-Inch Full HD Image From Just Over a Metre
The EB-L210SF puts a native Full HD 1920 x 1080 picture on the wall at a 0.45 to 0.61 throw ratio — a 90-inch image from 91 centimetres, with a working range of 55 to 125 inches. That is genuinely short throw, and it changes what is possible in a narrow classroom, a meeting pod, a training room or a retail space where a standard projector would need three or four metres of clear depth. Mounted on a wall arm above the screen, it also keeps whoever is presenting out of the beam entirely.
Over 5,000,000:1 Contrast With 4,000 Lumens of Colour Brightness
Epson publishes 4,000 lumens of colour light output and 4,000 lumens of white light output, with an extended mode at 2,800 lumens, and quotes contrast at over 5,000,000:1. The three-panel 3LCD engine handles red, green and blue at once, so a coloured chart or a photograph does not dim relative to a white slide and there is no rainbow artefact. Noise reduction, super-resolution and detail enhancement processing clean up softer sources before they reach the screen.
20,000 to 30,000 Hours of Laser Operation and a 20,000-Hour Filter
The laser diode light source is rated at 20,000 hours in normal and quiet modes and 30,000 hours in extended mode, and the electrostatic air filter runs 20,000 hours. For a school, a corporate estate or a hospitality venue that means the unit is effectively fit and forget — no lamp stock, no lamp changes and no brightness drift between rooms commissioned together. Instant Off removes the cool-down wait, and quick start-up puts an image up in under five seconds.
Full Professional I/O Including Mic Input, Edge Blending and Screen Mirroring
Two HDMI 2.3 inputs, two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs, composite video, RCA and twin stereo mini audio inputs, a monitor output, an audio output and a dedicated microphone input cover a lecture theatre as well as a meeting room. Wired LAN at 100 Mbps and RS-232C bring it onto a managed network and a room control system, built-in wireless handles screen mirroring, and edge blending lets two or more units build a single wide image across a long wall. A 16 W speaker and a USB Type A port that supplies 5 V at 2 A complete the package.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and orientation
Short-throw projectors mount on a wall arm above the screen rather than hanging in the middle of the ceiling, which shortens the cable run and keeps the presenter out of the beam. At 337 x 325 x 90 mm excluding feet and approximately 4.6 kg, the EB-L210SF suits a standard short-throw arm. Keystone correction is plus or minus 15 degrees vertically and horizontally with manual Quick Corner, a narrower range than a standard-throw unit, so mount it accurately.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3 handle laptops, mini-PCs, media players and control system outputs. Two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs, composite video, an RCA audio input and two stereo mini jacks keep legacy sources working, and a dedicated microphone input takes a presenter mic straight into the projector's 16 W speaker. A monitor output and audio output feed a confidence display or house sound. The USB Type A port supports PC-free playback and supplies 5 V at 2 A for a streaming stick.
Network, wireless and content management
Wired LAN at 100 Mbps and RS-232C bring the projector onto a managed network and let a Crestron, Extron or similar controller drive it. Wireless LAN is built in, running IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac across 2.4 and 5 GHz in infrastructure and access point (Wi-Fi Direct) modes, with optional ELPAP11 support. Screen mirroring and the Epson Creative Projection app handle wireless sharing, and edge blending allows several units to build one continuous wide image.
Where it sits in the range
The EB-L210SF is the Full HD short-throw model. The EB-L210SW is the identical chassis in WXGA. For a standard-throw Full HD laser unit in the same generation, see the EB-L260F. The preceding short-throw generation is the EB-L200SW and EB-L200SX.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-L210SF
EB-L210SF or EB-L210SW — what is the actual difference?
The last letter is the resolution. EB-L210SF is F for Full HD 1920 x 1080; EB-L210SW is W for WXGA 1280 x 800. Both are 4,000-lumen short-throw laser projectors in the identical 337 x 325 x 90 mm, 4.6 kg chassis with the same ports, the same 5,000,000:1 contrast and the same 20,000-hour laser. The SF throws 55 to 125 inches at a 0.45 to 0.61 throw ratio; the SW throws 53 to 120 inches at 0.48 to 0.65. Buy the SF for video and detailed widescreen content, the SW where WXGA is sufficient.
How close to the screen does it sit?
A 90-inch image needs 91 centimetres of throw distance, and the full range is 55 to 125 inches from 54 to 127 centimetres at a 0.45 to 0.61 throw ratio. That is short throw rather than ultra-short throw, so allow roughly a metre of clearance in front of the screen.
What is the real contrast figure?
Epson quotes over 5,000,000:1 for this model, which is a significant step up from the 2,500,000:1 of the preceding EB-L200SW generation. In a room with some ambient light that shows up as better shadow detail in video and deeper blacks behind white text.
How long does the laser last?
20,000 hours in normal and quiet modes, and 30,000 hours in extended mode. The electrostatic air filter is rated at 20,000 hours. There is no lamp, so across a normal deployment life there is nothing routine to replace.
Can I plug a microphone into it?
Yes. There is a dedicated stereo mini microphone input that feeds the projector's 16 W monaural speaker, so a small classroom or training room can run voice reinforcement without a separate PA. For a larger space, use the stereo mini audio output to drive a house system instead.
Can I run two of them side by side for a wide image?
Yes. Edge blending is supported on this model, so two or more units can be aligned to build a single continuous wide image across a long wall — useful for lecture theatres, briefing rooms and experiential retail. Multi-projection colour mode is available to match the units to each other.
Does it work on a corporate network?
Yes. It has a 100 Mbps wired LAN port and built-in wireless LAN running 802.11a/b/g/n/ac across 2.4 and 5 GHz, in infrastructure or access point (Wi-Fi Direct) mode. RS-232C is provided for room control systems, and the unit draws 2.0 W in network-on standby or 0.5 W with the network off.
How does it compare with the older EB-L200SW?
The EB-L210SF is the newer generation: Full HD rather than WXGA, 4,000 lumens against 3,800, over 5,000,000:1 contrast against 2,500,000:1, up to 30,000 hours of laser life in extended mode, a microphone input, edge blending and built-in wireless with screen mirroring. The EB-L200SW remains a solid WXGA option where budget is the deciding factor.
What warranty and paperwork do I get from SourceIT?
