Epson EB-L570U 3LCD Laser Projector with 4K
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-L570U WUXGA 3LCD Laser Projector with 4K Enhancement (V11HA98080) - 3 Years Singapore Local Warranty
WUXGA with 4K Enhancement for Fine Text and Detailed Drawings
The EB-L570U projects a native WUXGA image of 1920 x 1200 and adds Epson's 4K Enhancement pixel-shifting, which doubles the pixels placed on screen to sharpen edges and fine detail. On a large boardroom screen that shows up in small type, engineering drawings and dense financial tables, where a standard WUXGA image starts to soften. Super resolution, detail enhancement and scene adaptive gamma process the signal further. For architecture practices, engineering consultancies and university lecture theatres in Singapore, it is a meaningful step up without moving to a true 4K price bracket.
5,200 Lumens and a 20,000-Hour Laser for Unattended Operation
Colour and white light output are both 5,200 lumens, so the projected image stays readable with room lights on and blinds open. The laser diode light source is rated at up to 20,000 hours in Normal mode, removing lamp replacement from the maintenance schedule entirely and keeping brightness stable over the life of the installation. Fan noise sits at 31dB in Normal mode and 23dB in Eco, quiet enough for a boardroom ceiling. Dynamic contrast is rated at 2,500,000:1, giving dark scenes depth in video and photography content.
Edge Blending, Curved Surface Correction and 360-Degree Projection
This model supports edge blending and curved surface correction, so two or more units can be combined into one seamless wide image or mapped onto a curved wall. Projection is 360 degrees, meaning the unit can be ceiling-hung, floor-standing, tilted or rotated without restriction. Lens shift moves the image plus or minus 50 percent vertically and plus or minus 20 percent horizontally, so the projector need not sit on the screen centreline. Those capabilities open up museum galleries, visitor attractions, showrooms and immersive training rooms as well as conventional meeting spaces.
HDBaseT, Dual HDMI and Fleet Management Software
Two HDMI inputs and one HDBaseT input feed the projector from a local source or a remote rack over a single Cat 6 run. RS-232C and an RJ45 network port give AV control systems direct command access, and Epson Projector Management handles monitoring, scheduling and firmware across a fleet from one console. Epson iProjection supports multi-PC projection from laptops and mobile devices, and wireless LAN enterprise security means IT can put the projector on the corporate network. The ELPEC01 external camera is supported for multi-projector colour and geometry setup.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and placement
The EB-L570U supports 360-degree projection, so it can be ceiling-mounted, table-mounted, tilted or rotated. Lens shift of plus or minus 50 percent vertically and plus or minus 20 percent horizontally lets the projector sit off the screen centreline, which usually gives a cleaner result than relying on keystone correction. Where geometry still needs a nudge, vertical and horizontal keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees is available. The chassis measures 339 x 440 x 136 mm including feet and weighs 8.3 kg, so confirm the rating of any bracket you plan to reuse.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs cover laptops, room PCs, media players and conferencing codecs. One HDBaseT input takes video, audio and control over a single Cat 6 run from a remote source rack, which is the usual approach in lecture theatres and large boardrooms. Note that this model is digital-input only — there is no D-Sub 15-pin computer input — so older VGA-only sources will need a converter. Two USB Type A ports and one USB Type B port handle content playback, document cameras, the ELPEC01 external camera and firmware updates.
Network, control and content management
An RJ45 network port and an RS-232C serial port both accept commands from Crestron, Extron, AMX and similar control systems. Epson Projector Management monitors and schedules a fleet from one console, Epson iProjection handles multi-PC projection from laptops and mobile devices, and Epson Projector Content Manager builds playlists for content playback. Wireless LAN enterprise security lets IT place the projector on a corporate network. Wireless operation itself requires the optional ELPAP11 module.
Multi-projector work
Edge blending and curved surface correction are supported, so several EB-L570U units can be combined into one wide seamless image or mapped onto a curved surface. The ELPEC01 external camera assists with automatic colour and geometry matching across units. SourceIT can quote the additional projectors, mounts and cabling together.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-L570U
Is the EB-L570U a true 4K projector?
No. Its native resolution is WUXGA, 1920 x 1200. Epson's 4K Enhancement technology shifts each pixel diagonally to place roughly double the pixels on screen, which visibly sharpens text and fine detail, but the panel itself is WUXGA.
How is it different from the EB-L770U?
Both are WUXGA 3LCD laser projectors with 4K Enhancement, the same 1.6x zoom and the same 1.35 to 2.20 throw ratio. The EB-L770U is brighter at 7,000 lumens against 5,200 lumens here and draws more power. Choose the EB-L770U for larger screens or brighter rooms.
Does it have a VGA input?
No. The EB-L570U takes digital sources only: two HDMI inputs and one HDBaseT input. A VGA-only laptop or document camera will need a converter.
Can I run two of them side by side as one wide image?
Yes. Edge blending and curved surface correction are both supported, and the optional ELPEC01 external camera assists with automatic colour and geometry matching between units.
Does it have built-in wireless?
Wireless requires the optional Epson ELPAP11 module, which plugs into the dedicated USB Type A port. Wired networking over RJ45 is built in, and wireless LAN enterprise security is supported once the module is fitted.
How long does the light source last?
Epson rates the laser diode light source at up to 20,000 hours in Normal mode. There is no lamp to replace, so the maintenance budget for the life of the installation drops accordingly.
Can it be mounted upside down or on an angle?
Yes. The EB-L570U supports 360-degree projection, and lens shift of plus or minus 50 percent vertically and plus or minus 20 percent horizontally means it does not need to sit on the screen centreline.
What warranty and paperwork do I get?
Every unit sold by SourceIT carries local Singapore warranty and ships with a GST invoice. Three years local warranty applies to this model.
