High-Performance Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7
The RUCKUS R670 is a tri-band concurrent 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) indoor access point with 2x2:2 radios on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, for a combined data rate of 9.34 Gbps. It can be software-configured to dual-band mode with 4x4:4 on 5 GHz. RUCKUS rates it at up to 768 clients per AP and positions it for guest rooms, classrooms and meeting rooms carrying 4K/8K video and latency-sensitive voice and data.
SmartZone or RUCKUS One Managed
This is the standard edition (part number prefix 901-) for networks run from RUCKUS SmartZone controllers or the RUCKUS One cloud platform. The controller-less Unleashed edition of the same hardware is 9U1-R670-WW00.
5 Gbps Ethernet Backhaul
One 5/2.5/1 GbE PoE port removes the wired backhaul bottleneck, with a second 1 GbE port for a local device. Wi-Fi 7 features include 320 MHz channels, Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and preamble puncturing.
BeamFlex+ and Converged IoT
BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas offer 4,000+ unique antenna patterns per band, steering signal per device on a packet-by-packet basis. An onboard BLE or Zigbee IoT radio (Matter and Thread capable), a USB 2.0 port, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot round out the converged design.
Supplied in Singapore with Local Warranty
RUCKUS sells the R670 with a limited lifetime warranty. SourceIT supplies it locally in Singapore with a GST invoice. An adjustable acoustic drop-ceiling bracket is included; the power adapter is not. Email sales@sourceit.com.sg with your floor plan and user count for a layout and bill of materials.

This is the standard (non-Unleashed) edition, part number prefix 901-, for networks run from a RUCKUS controller or management platform. RUCKUS lists SmartZone, RUCKUS Unleashed and RUCKUS One management for the R670; for controller-less Unleashed out of the box, order 9U1-R670-WW00 instead.
Mixing with Other RUCKUS Gear
RUCKUS AI (formerly RUCKUS Analytics) provides network analytics and Cloudpath handles security and policy. Wi-Fi 7 clients get the full 802.11be feature set; 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax devices remain supported. Use an 802.3bt switch port (35 W) to keep USB enabled and full transmit power.

What is the difference between 901-R670-WW00 and 9U1-R670-WW00?
Same R670 hardware. 901- is the standard AP for SmartZone or RUCKUS One management; 9U1- ships with Unleashed (embedded controller, no controller or subscription needed).
R670 or R770?
Both are tri-band Wi-Fi 7. The R670 has 2x2:2 on 5 GHz in tri-band mode, a 5 GbE port and up to 768 clients; the R770 runs 4x4:4 on 5 GHz, has a 10 GbE port and supports up to 1,024 clients.
What PoE does it need?
802.3bt / PoH / uPoE (35 W) for full functionality. On 802.3at (25.5 W) USB is disabled and transmit power is reduced.
Does it support 6 GHz?
Yes — 2x2:2 on 6 GHz with 320 MHz channels, LPI and SP (with AFC) modes.
