The Ergotron Neo-Flex Mobile MediaCenter VHD is the middle model in the MediaCenter range and the one most Singapore meeting rooms actually need: it carries a flat panel from 37 to 75 in on a rolling, height-adjustable column. The screen goes to the room that needs it that week, instead of a wall being drilled in a leased office for a display that will be moved anyway.
50 to 90 lbs — Check Both Ends of the Range
Ergotron rates the VHD at 50 to 90 lbs (22.7 to 40.8 kg). This is a Constant Force lift, counterbalanced to its load, so the minimum is a real specification and not a formality: a panel under 50 lbs will drift upward rather than hold position. A modern 65 in commercial display typically lands comfortably inside the band, but a light consumer 55 in panel may fall below it — weigh the screen before ordering.

VESA MIS-D and MIS-F, Portrait or Landscape
Ergotron specifies VESA MIS-D and MIS-F support on the VHD, covering hole patterns from 100 x 100 mm through to 600 x 600 mm. The head rotates 90° between portrait and landscape, so the same cart serves a landscape meeting-room presentation and a portrait digital signage or wayfinding deployment in a lobby.

Compatibility & Fit
The capacity is a range, and the minimum matters as much as the maximum. This is the single most important thing to understand before ordering a MediaCenter cart. Ergotron’s MediaCenter lifts use Constant Force™ technology, which is counterbalanced for a load band rather than simply rated to a ceiling. Fit a display lighter than the minimum and the lift is over-tensioned — the screen will drift upward and will not stay where you put it. Fit one heavier than the maximum and it will not hold at height. Any listing that quotes only an “up to” figure for a Constant Force product is telling you half the specification. Weigh your display and confirm it sits inside the band, or send SourceIT the model and we will check it for you.
Display size: 37 to 75 in, and unusually, both Ergotron sources agree. Unlike the LD and UHD models, where the marketing datasheet and the engineering drawing differ on the maximum, the VHD is printed as 37 to 75 in on both. You can specify against that figure with confidence.
Weight is where the VHD gets specified wrong. The band is 50 to 90 lbs (22.7 to 40.8 kg). The trap is at the bottom, not the top: modern panels have got lighter, and a slim consumer 55 in television can weigh well under 50 lbs, which puts it below the minimum and means the screen will drift upward instead of holding height. Commercial-grade 65 in and 75 in displays generally sit inside the band comfortably. Weigh the panel, or send SourceIT the model.

What size display does the VHD take?
37 to 75 in. This is one of the few MediaCenter figures where Ergotron’s datasheet and its engineering drawing agree exactly, so you can specify against it without qualification.
Why is there a 50 lb minimum?
Because the lift is a Constant Force mechanism counterbalanced for a load band. Below 50 lbs (22.7 kg) the column is over-tensioned and the screen drifts upward instead of holding position. This catches people out with lightweight modern panels — a slim consumer 55 in television can easily fall below the minimum even though its diagonal is well inside the range.
