Epson EB-760Wi WXGA 3LCD Laser Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-760Wi WXGA 3LCD Interactive Laser Projector (V11HA80080) - 3 Years Singapore Local Warranty
An Interactive Display up to 100 Inches — 85% More Working Space Than a 75-Inch Panel
The EB-760Wi turns an ordinary wall or whiteboard into a 16:10 WXGA interactive surface up to 100 inches diagonal, which Epson rates at up to 85 percent more interactive space than a 75-inch flat panel and at a far lower cost per square inch. For a Singapore classroom, tutorial room or design review space, that extra area is what lets two students work side by side at the board, or lets a facilitator keep an agenda pinned beside a live annotation canvas. Pen and finger touch working are what this model exists for.
Pen and Finger Touch on the Wall, With the Finger Touch Unit Supported
The EB-760Wi carries the Interactive Sync input and the dedicated Finger Touch Unit Control port (Mini DIN 8-pin) that the non-interactive EB-760W does not use, so the projector supports pen working and, with the Epson Finger Touch Unit fitted, direct finger touch on the projected image. Annotation, highlighting and saving work happen at the surface rather than at a keyboard, which is what changes behaviour in a teaching room. Quick Corner geometry correction can be applied automatically or manually to keep the interactive canvas square to the board.
4,100 Lumens of Colour and White Brightness With Over 5,000,000:1 Contrast
Epson rates the EB-760Wi at 4,100 lumens of white light output and 4,100 lumens of colour light output in Normal mode, falling to 2,800 lumens in Extended mode, with a dynamic contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1. Epson's three-chip 3LCD design produces the same brightness for colour as for white, so a coloured diagram or a marked-up drawing stays saturated under classroom lighting instead of greying out. Noise Reduction, Super-Resolution and Detail Enhancement clean up lower-resolution source material before it reaches the wall.
Twenty Thousand Hours of Laser and Three HDMI Inputs for a Busy Room
The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation, so there are no lamps to buy or change across the installation's life. Three HDCP 2.3 HDMI inputs, two computer inputs, a composite input and a monitor output let a room PC, a visiting laptop, a document camera and a confidence display coexist. Built-in wireless LAN with Epson iProjection supports up to 50 connected devices with four casting at once, and a 16 W speaker with microphone input covers room audio without a separate amplifier.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and placement
The EB-760Wi is wall mounted directly above the interactive surface on an Epson ultra-short throw mount. The body measures 395 x 356 x 133 mm excluding feet and weighs approximately 6 kg, so the wall and the mount must be specified accordingly — plasterboard alone is not enough without backing. Interactive working demands a flat, matte, rigid surface: a proper projection whiteboard or a coated wall will track far better than a fabric screen, which flexes when a pen is pressed against it.
Installing the Finger Touch Unit
Finger touch is delivered by the Epson Finger Touch Unit, which mounts above the projection area and connects to the projector's Finger Touch Unit Control port (Mini DIN 8-pin). Alignment between the touch unit and the projected image is critical, so allow time for calibration during commissioning and make sure the surface stays flat afterwards. The official Epson installation video at the bottom of this page walks through the process for the EB-760Wi and EB-770Fi.
What it connects to
Three HDCP 2.3 HDMI inputs cover a room PC, a visiting laptop and a document camera at once. Two computer inputs and a composite input keep legacy visualisers usable, and the computer output can drive a confidence monitor. Two USB Type B ports support USB Display, firmware updates and OSD copying; two USB Type A ports handle PC Free playback, with the rear port also able to supply 5 V / 2 A to a streaming stick. Three audio inputs, an audio output and a microphone input feed the 16 W speaker.
Network, wireless and classroom control
Wired LAN over RJ45 supports centralised monitoring, scheduling and firmware management. Wireless LAN is built in, with an optional module also supported. Free Epson iProjection software allows up to 50 devices to connect — Chromebooks, iOS and Android devices, Mac computers and PCs — with up to four casting at a time and a moderator function so the teacher decides what is shown. Split screen displays two sources side by side, which pairs well with keeping an interactive canvas open beside a document.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-760Wi
What is the difference between the EB-760Wi and the EB-760W?
The "i" is the whole difference and it matters. The EB-760Wi on this page is the interactive model: it supports pen working and the Epson Finger Touch Unit through its dedicated Finger Touch Unit Control and Interactive Sync ports, with an interactive image up to 100 inches. The EB-760W is a display only with no interactivity, and projects up to 150 inches. If people will write on the image, buy this model.
Is the Finger Touch Unit included?
The Finger Touch Unit is the accessory that adds direct finger touch on the projected surface, and Epson supplies it separately from the projector in most bundles. Pen working is the projector's own function. Because bundles differ by part number and territory, ask us to confirm exactly what is in the box for the unit we are quoting before you order — we will quote the Finger Touch Unit alongside it if your room needs touch as well as pen.
Why is the interactive image only 100 inches when the EB-760W reaches 150?
Interactive tracking has to remain accurate right to the edges of the image, and Epson specifies the EB-760Wi for up to 100 inches to keep pen and touch registration reliable across the whole canvas. If you need a very large image and do not need interactivity, the EB-760W at up to 150 inches is the better fit.
Should I choose WXGA or Full HD?
The EB-760Wi is native WXGA at 1280 x 800, which is well matched to classroom teaching material and annotation work. If your content is detailed — spreadsheets, engineering drawings, dense documents or video — the Full HD EB-770Fi is the same interactive idea at 1920 x 1080, and it also supports ultra-wide 21:9 and 16:6 display modes.
Is there a lamp to replace?
No. The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation. The only routine service item is the electrostatic air filter, with a maintenance cycle of 12,000 hours in Normal mode and 20,000 hours in Extended mode.
What sort of wall or board does it need?
A flat, rigid, matte surface. A proper projection whiteboard or a coated projection wall gives the best pen and touch tracking; a fabric or pull-down screen flexes under a pen and will frustrate users. Gloss whiteboards should be avoided because an ultra-short throw lens will hot-spot on them. The projector weighs approximately 6 kg, so specify the mount and wall fixings to suit.
How many devices can present wirelessly?
Wireless LAN is built in. With free Epson iProjection software, up to 50 devices can connect and up to four can cast at the same time, from Chromebooks, iOS and Android devices, Mac computers and PCs, with a moderator function that keeps the teacher in control of what is displayed.
What warranty and paperwork comes with it?
Every unit sold by SourceIT carries local Singapore warranty and is invoiced with a GST invoice. Support and warranty claims are handled locally rather than through an overseas grey-market channel.
