Epson EB-FH54 Full HD Wireless 3LCD Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-FH54 Full HD Wireless 3LCD Projector (V11HB59052) - Local Warranty
4,100 Lumens of Full HD With Colour Brightness to Match
The EB-FH54 drives a 0.62-inch C2 Fine 3LCD panel carrying 2,073,600 dots per colour channel at native 1920 x 1080 in 16:9. Epson publishes 4,100 lumens of white light output and 4,100 lumens of colour light output, with a centre reading of 4,400 lumens, because the three-panel engine handles red, green and blue simultaneously rather than through a sequential colour wheel. Combined with a 16,000:1 contrast ratio, that holds brand colours and video detail together in a lit boardroom, lecture theatre or hospitality space.
Built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Miracast R2 for a Cable-Free Meeting Room
Wireless LAN is built in and runs Wi-Fi 6, supporting IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax in both infrastructure and Simple AP (Wi-Fi Direct) modes. Security covers WPA2 and WPA3-PSK, WPA2 and WPA3-EAP with PEAP and EAP-TLS, which is what a corporate IT team needs before a device joins the staff network. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast R2 handles screen mirroring with H.264 video, so a presenter can share from a laptop or phone without a cable or a dongle.
1.62x Optical Zoom Covering 31 to 304 Inches
A manual optical zoom of 1.0 to 1.62 with a 1.30 to 2.09 throw ratio, an F1.51 to F1.77 lens and an 18.2 to 29.1 mm focal length covers 31 to 304 inches from 0.88 metres at the wide end out to 14.29 metres at the tele end. That range means the EB-FH54 can usually take over an existing ceiling position without re-drilling. Vertical and horizontal keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees squares the image when the unit sits off the screen centre line.
16 W Audio, PC-Free Playback and Long Filter Intervals
A 16 W monaural speaker fills a mid-sized room without a separate sound system, and a stereo mini audio output feeds a house system when you need more. A USB Type A port drives PC-free playback, firmware updates and OSD copying, and can supply 5 V at 2 A to power a streaming stick directly from the projector. The air filter runs 10,000 hours in normal mode and 20,000 hours in eco, so scheduled maintenance is rare; start-up is under seven seconds and shutdown is instant.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and orientation
At 309 x 282 x 90 mm excluding feet and approximately 3.1 kg, the EB-FH54 fits a standard universal projector bracket, a ceiling plate or a tabletop. The 1.0 to 1.62 optical zoom and 1.30 to 2.09 throw ratio usually let it take over an existing ceiling position. Vertical and horizontal keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees squares up an off-centre install.
What it connects to
Two HDMI Type A inputs with HDCP 1.4 handle laptops, mini-PCs, media players and control system outputs. The USB Type A port supports PC-free playback from a USB drive and can supply 5 V at 2 A, enough to run a streaming stick from the projector itself. A stereo mini audio output feeds a room sound system. Note there is no VGA, composite or RCA audio input on this model — for legacy sources use the EB-FH52 or add an HDMI converter.
Network, wireless and content management
Built-in Wi-Fi 6 wireless LAN supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax in infrastructure and Simple AP (Wi-Fi Direct) modes, with WPA2 and WPA3 PSK and EAP security including PEAP and EAP-TLS for enterprise onboarding. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast R2 provides screen mirroring from compatible laptops and mobile devices using H.264, with one connection at a time.
Where it sits in the range
The EB-FH54 is the wireless Full HD lamp model in this family. The EB-FH52 is the closely related model with legacy VGA, composite and RCA audio inputs. If you want a laser light source with a 20,000-hour service life instead of a lamp, look at the EB-L200F or EB-L260F.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-FH54
What exactly does the EB-FH54 add over the EB-FH52?
The 54 is the wireless model. It has Wi-Fi 6 wireless LAN built in as standard with Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast R2 screen mirroring, 4,100 lumens rather than 4,000, and a USB Type A port that can power a streaming stick at 5 V / 2 A. The trade-off is that the EB-FH54 drops the VGA, composite video and RCA audio inputs that the EB-FH52 keeps. Pick the 54 for a wireless-first room, the 52 for a room with existing legacy cabling.
Will our IT team let it onto the corporate Wi-Fi?
It supports WPA2 and WPA3-PSK as well as WPA2 and WPA3-EAP with PEAP and EAP-TLS, which covers most enterprise 802.1X deployments. It also runs a Simple AP (Wi-Fi Direct) mode with WPA2-PSK (AES) if you would rather keep it off the corporate network entirely and have presenters connect to the projector directly.
Does it have a VGA input?
No. Epson's published connectivity for this model lists two HDMI Type A inputs, one USB Type A, one USB Type B and a stereo mini audio output. There is no D-Sub 15-pin analogue input, composite input or RCA audio input. Use an HDMI converter for a legacy source, or choose the EB-FH52.
How large an image can it produce and from what distance?
31 to 304 inches. At the wide end that spans 0.88 to 8.88 metres and at the tele end 1.43 to 14.29 metres, with a throw ratio of 1.30 to 2.09 and a 1.62x manual optical zoom. That is enough latitude that it will usually fit an existing ceiling bracket position.
Is the built-in speaker usable?
Yes. It is a 16 W monaural speaker, which is adequate for voice and video clips across a meeting room, classroom or small function room. A stereo mini audio output is provided if you want to feed a house sound system for a larger space.
What is the maintenance schedule?
The 230 W UHE lamp is rated at 5,500 hours in normal mode and 12,000 hours in eco. The air filter runs much longer — 10,000 hours in normal mode and 20,000 hours in eco — so the lamp is the item you plan around. Fan noise is 37 dB normal and 28 dB eco; standby draw in eco is 0.3 W.
Can it be switched from a wall plate or room controller?
Yes. Direct power on and off is supported and the projector uses Instant Off with no cool-down wait, so it can be wired into a room control system. Start-up to the Epson logo is under seven seconds with a 30-second warm-up.
What warranty and paperwork do I get from SourceIT?
Every unit is supplied by SourceIT with a three-year Singapore local warranty and a full GST invoice, so the projector can go straight onto your company's asset register and be serviced locally without shipping it overseas.
