The EB-735F is the Full HD member of Epson's 700 series ultra-short throw laser family, projecting a native 1920 x 1080 image at sizes up to 120 inches. At that size a spreadsheet, a CAD drawing or a shared document stays legible from the back of a classroom or a boardroom, which is where a WXGA projector starts to struggle. 3LCD technology gives equal white and colour brightness, so pie charts, branded slides and photographs hold their saturation instead of dimming the way single-chip designs can when colour is pushed.

Mounting and placement
The EB-735F is intended for a wall mount immediately above the projection surface, in the manner of the rest of Epson's 700 series ultra-short throw range. It can also be table mounted for temporary or demonstration use. Because the lens sits so close to the wall, the surface itself matters: a flat, matte whiteboard or a painted projection wall will look far better than a gloss board, which will hot-spot under an ultra-short throw lens. Plan the mount so the air intake and filter remain accessible for servicing.
What it connects to
HDMI handles a room PC, a laptop, a media player or a video bar; VGA keeps older visualisers and legacy classroom PCs in service; USB supports direct playback and display over a single cable from a computer. Audio in and audio out let the projector either take sound from the source or pass it on to a room system, and the built-in 16 W speaker covers a normal classroom or meeting room without extra hardware.
Network and content management
Wired LAN allows the projector to be monitored, scheduled and controlled centrally alongside the rest of an estate, which is how most schools and corporate AV teams prefer to run a fleet. Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-735F
Is the EB-735F an interactive projector?
No. The EB-735F is a straight ultra-short throw display with no pen and no finger touch. The "F" simply denotes Full HD resolution; Epson uses an "i" suffix for its interactive models. If you need to write and annotate on the projected image, look at the EB-725Wi or the Full HD EB-770Fi instead.
How does it compare with the EB-725W?
They share the same ultra-short throw laser platform. The EB-725W is native WXGA at 1280 x 800 and 4,000 lumens; the EB-735F is native Full HD at 1920 x 1080 and 3,600 lumens. Choose the EB-735F where detail matters — spreadsheets, drawings, dense documents, video — and the EB-725W where raw brightness in a bright room matters more than pixel count.
How does it compare with the newer EB-770F?
The EB-770F is the later generation of the same idea: Full HD ultra-short throw laser, but at 4,100 lumens, with a higher contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1, three HDMI inputs and images up to 150 inches. The EB-735F remains a sound choice where 120 inches is enough and budget is the deciding factor.
Is there a lamp to replace?
No. The laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours, so there is no lamp to buy or change. Brightness holds far more steadily across that life than a lamp does, and the projector starts quickly and powers down without a cool-down wait.
What size room and screen does it suit?
It projects up to 120 inches diagonal, which comfortably covers a normal classroom, a training room or a mid-sized meeting room. For a large lecture theatre or a hall, or for an image beyond 120 inches, step up to the EB-770F at 150 inches or the 5,000 lumen EB-810E at 160 inches.
Do I need an external speaker?
Usually not in a normal-sized room. A 16 W speaker is built in, which is enough for classroom video and presentation audio. For a large room, or where music quality matters, use the audio output to feed a room sound system instead.
Does it need a wireless module?
The EB-735F supports Screen Mirroring and wireless LAN. Epson's wireless arrangement varies across this family — some models are built in and some use the ELPAP11 module — so if wireless network access is essential to your deployment, ask us to confirm the requirement for your unit before you order and we will quote the module if one is needed.
What warranty and paperwork comes with it?
