TP-Link UE330C USB Type-C 3-Port Hub & Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link USB Type-C 3-Port Hub & Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (UE330C) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The UE330C turns one USB-C port into three USB-A 3.0 ports and a Gigabit Ethernet socket. It is the single accessory that makes a modern thin laptop usable at a desk again - wired network, keyboard, mouse and a drive, all off one connector. At 31 x 23 x 96 mm it lives in a laptop sleeve rather than on the desk.
Three USB-A 3.0 Ports From One USB-C Connector
The hub side gives three USB-A 3.0 ports, which is where most working peripherals still are - a wired keyboard and mouse, a USB headset, a flash drive, a label printer, a hardware token. TP-Link states transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps and backward compatibility with the USB 2.0 and 1.1 standards, so older accessories keep working at their own rate without holding the others back.
A Real Gigabit Ethernet Port
Alongside the three USB ports there is a Gigabit Ethernet socket. For a Singapore office where the Wi-Fi is congested at 9 a.m., or a meeting room where the presenter needs a reliable link, plugging into copper is still the quickest fix - and on a laptop that has no RJ45 socket at all, this adapter is the only way to do it. The wired link also matters where a corporate network only trusts cabled connections.
Plug and Play on Current Systems
TP-Link publishes support for Windows 7 and later, macOS 10.9 and later, Chrome OS and Linux. On Windows 7 through 11, macOS 10.15 and later, Chrome OS and Linux the adapter is plug and play. On macOS 10.9 to 10.14 a driver has to be installed manually - worth knowing before the adapter is handed to someone on an older Mac.
Small Enough to Leave in the Bag
The UE330C measures 31 x 23 x 96 mm and draws its power from the host's USB-C port, so there is no adapter, no battery and nothing else to carry. One cable to the laptop, and the hub sits behind the screen or beside the keyboard. For hot-desking and hybrid working, a second one at home costs less than the time spent moving the first one.
Ideal For
Singapore offices, hot desks, meeting rooms and home setups running USB-C-only laptops, Chromebooks and tablets that need wired Ethernet and a few USB-A ports back. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — UE330C
Does it need a driver?
On Windows 7 to 11, macOS 10.15 and later, Chrome OS and Linux it is plug and play. Only macOS 10.9 to 10.14 need a driver installed manually, and TP-Link publishes it on the UE330C download page.
Will it charge my laptop through the USB-C cable?
TP-Link publishes no USB Power Delivery pass-through for the UE330C, so it should not be relied on to charge the host. If charging through the same port matters, ask SourceIT for a docking station instead.
What is the difference between this and the UE330?
The UE330C connects to the host with a USB-C connector; the UE330 is the USB-A version of the same idea. Choose by the port on the laptop.
Does it need a power adapter?
No. The UE330C is bus-powered from the host's USB-C port and ships with no mains adapter.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every UE330C sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice and local warranty support.
