PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link Tapo Robot Vacuum Magnetic Boundary Strip (RVA400) - Local Warranty

Two magnetic tapes of 2 m / 6.6 ft each, plus 3M adhesive, listed by TP-Link for the Tapo RV10 Plus, RV10 and RV10 Lite. TP-Link's own line on it is the plain one: "Simply set up areas you don't want the robot to go with the magnetic strip." Nothing to power, nothing to pair. Supplied by SourceIT with a GST invoice and local warranty.

A Boundary You Lay Down, Not One You Configure

TP-Link describes the RVA400 as a magnetic strip you use to set up areas you do not want the robot to go. It is a physical accessory rather than a software feature, so there is no setting to find in an app and nothing to re-enter if the robot is re-onboarded or the app is reinstalled. TP-Link publishes no app function, no setup step and no configuration for it, and none is claimed here - what is in the box is tape and adhesive, and where you put them is the whole of the setup.

The Places Worth Fencing Off

Pet bowls and litter trays, a run of cables behind a desk, a child's floor play area, a rug with a fringe that tangles a brush, or an open doorway to a room you would rather the robot left alone. TP-Link supplies two tapes of 2 m / 6.6 ft each, so one pack covers several of these at once, or a single wide threshold with length to spare. Decide where the robot should not go, mark it once, and stop thinking about it.

3M Adhesive Supplied in the Pack

TP-Link's published package contents for the RVA400 are two 2 m / 6.6 ft magnetic tapes and 3M adhesive, so the means of fixing the tapes to the floor comes in the box. TP-Link publishes no instruction on cutting or trimming the tape, so we do not advise doing so - plan each run to use a full 2 m length, or route the surplus along a skirting board rather than shortening it. Beyond the contents line, TP-Link publishes no width, thickness or material for the tape, and none is claimed here.

Genuine TP-Link Accessory

This is TP-Link's own boundary strip for the Tapo platform, published by TP-Link for the Tapo RV10 Plus, Tapo RV10 and Tapo RV10 Lite. Buying the listed accessory means fitting the part TP-Link publishes for those robots rather than a substitute tape of unknown specification. SourceIT supplies it as genuine TP-Link stock with a GST invoice and local warranty. If your robot is not one of the three models TP-Link names, ask us before ordering rather than assuming the strip is intended for it.

Ideal For

Singapore homes running a Tapo RV10 Plus, RV10 or RV10 Lite that need a physical keep-out zone — pet corners, cable runs, play areas and doorways. Supplied by SourceIT with GST invoice.

TP-Link does not publish a specification table, width, thickness, material or weight for the Tapo RVA400, so none is claimed here. The tape length and the 3M adhesive are taken from TP-Link's published package-contents line and not from a specification table. TP-Link's replacement-warranty policy names no separate tier for robot vacuum accessories, so this listing states local warranty without a duration — ask us for the current coverage before ordering.

Compatibility & Software Support

TP-Link lists the RVA400 as compatible with the Tapo robot vacuums below, in this order. Check your model before ordering.

Tapo RV10 Plus Compatible
Tapo RV10 Compatible
Tapo RV10 Lite Compatible
Software None required — physical accessory, no app setup

TP-Link lists no other Tapo robot vacuum for the RVA400 — not the Tapo RV30, not the Tapo RV30 Plus and not the Tapo RV20 series — so no compatibility with any of those is claimed here. Ask us before ordering if your robot is not on this list.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo RVA400

How much tape is in the pack?

Two magnetic tapes of 2 m / 6.6 ft each, plus 3M adhesive for fixing them down.

Which robots does it work with?

TP-Link lists the Tapo RV10 Plus, Tapo RV10 and Tapo RV10 Lite, and no other model.

Will it work with my Tapo RV30 or RV20 series robot?

TP-Link does not list the RVA400 for those models, so we do not claim it for them. Ask us before ordering if you run a Tapo robot that is not on the compatibility list above.

Can it be cut to length or curved?

TP-Link publishes no instruction on cutting or trimming the tape, so we do not advise doing so. Plan each run around a full 2 m length.

Does it need batteries or setup?

No. It is a passive magnetic accessory with no battery and no app setup. TP-Link's own line is that you "simply set up areas you don't want the robot to go with the magnetic strip."
