TP-Link Tapo RV30 LiDAR Navigation Robot Vacuum & Mop
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Tapo LiDAR Navigation Robot Vacuum & Mop (RV30) - 18 Months Local Warranty
The Tapo RV30 vacuums at up to 4200Pa across four suction levels, mops from an electronically metered 300 ml tank, and navigates on LiDAR plus a gyroscope. TP-Link rates it at five hours of continuous cleaning from its 5000 mAh battery, with recharge and resume so a large floor finishes in one session. It is the model to choose when the floor area is large, the rugs are deep, or the household sheds a lot of hair.
4200Pa Suction With Carpet Boost
Four vacuum modes top out at 4200Pa, and the robot auto-boosts to Max Mode when it moves from hard floor onto a carpet. The 400 ml bin has dustbin detection and an H11 HEPA filter, which TP-Link rates as capturing 99.9% of allergens as small as 0.3 microns. Noise is rated at 55 dB in Quiet Mode and 60 dB in Default/Standard - the trade for the extra suction, and still reasonable for a scheduled daytime run. A detachable main brush makes tangled hair easier to clear.
LiDAR Mapping, Multi-Floor Maps and No-Go Zones
LiDAR plus a gyroscope builds a high-precision map and handles obstacle avoidance rather than relying on infrared alone, and TP-Link notes it works in the dark. That is what makes the app controls meaningful: multi-floor mapping with three local-stored maps for a maisonette or a two-storey house, virtual walls, no-go zones, zone cleaning and individual settings per room. Anti-drop protection is fitted and barrier-cross height is 20 mm, which TP-Link states is reduced if the mop cloth mount is installed.
Mopping With Electric Water Flow Control
The 300 ml tank meters water electronically across three levels, keeping the cloth evenly damp over a long run, and TP-Link rates mopping coverage at 200 m2 / 2100 ft2 on a full tank and charge. Two washable mop cloths are supplied, and the mount fits and removes by hand. TP-Link's caution is worth repeating: "Adding unofficially designated floor cleaner may cause structural damage to the water tank." Spare cloths are the Tapo RVA300.
5000 mAh Battery, Recharge and Resume
TP-Link rates the 5000 mAh pack at five hours of continuous cleaning and up to 360 m2 / 3800 ft2 of vacuum coverage per full charge, both measured in quiet mode. Recharge and Resume sends the robot back to base when it runs low, then returns it to the point it stopped. Power comes in at 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz, which suits a Singapore supply directly. Control is through the Tapo app on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Alexa and Google Home support, plus a child and pet lock.
Ideal For
Larger Singapore homes, two-storey layouts and households with pets or carpets, where a smaller machine runs short on suction or battery and the map controls are the point. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Every figure above is transcribed from TP-Link's own Singapore product page for the Tapo RV30. Nothing is carried across from the RV10, RV20 or any other Tapo model.
TP-Link does not publish a net weight, a charging time or a working-temperature figure for the Tapo RV30 on its Singapore page, so none is claimed here. The runtime and vacuum coverage figures are qualified by TP-Link as based on internal testing carried out by the manufacturer using quiet vacuuming mode with a full battery, with actual results varying according to working status and home environment; the mopping coverage figure is qualified separately as based on internal testing using low water flow with a full battery, with actual results varying according to the home environment; the allergen figure is qualified as internal testing to IEST-RP-CC021.4-2016 standards. TP-Link publishes no footnote qualifying the 4200Pa suction figure.
Compatibility & Software Support
The RV30 joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is set up and driven entirely from the Tapo app. No hub is required.
| App | Tapo app for iOS and Android |
| Wi-Fi Band | 2.4 GHz only |
| Bluetooth | 4.2, used for onboarding |
| Voice Assistants | Amazon Alexa, Google Home |
| Consumables | Tapo RVA100 Replacement Kit, Tapo RVA300 Washable Mop Cloth |
The RV30 product page itself carries no accessory list; the compatibility above is taken from TP-Link's own RVA100 and RVA300 product pages, each of which names the Tapo RV30 in its compatible-models list. The RVA200 dust bag is for auto-empty dock models and the RVA400 boundary strip is not listed for the RV30, so neither is claimed here.

Frequently Asked Questions — Tapo RV30
How much suction does the RV30 have?
TP-Link rates it at up to 4200Pa across four vacuum modes, with an automatic boost to Max Mode when the robot meets a carpet. It is the model for larger floors and deeper carpet.
How long does it run on a charge?
TP-Link publishes five hours of continuous cleaning from the 5000 mAh battery, and up to 360 m2 / 3800 ft2 of vacuum coverage, both measured in quiet mode on a full battery. Recharge and Resume means a larger floor still finishes in one session.
Does it handle a two-storey home?
Yes. TP-Link publishes three local-stored multi-floor maps for this model, so it can hold a map per level. You still carry it between floors.
Does it empty itself?
No. The RV30 returns to a charging base and its 400 ml bin is emptied by hand. Auto-emptying is a feature of the Tapo models supplied with an auto-empty dock.
Can I add floor cleaner to the water tank?
TP-Link advises against it: adding an unofficially designated floor cleaner may cause structural damage to the water tank.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
18 Months Local Warranty (Singapore); internal battery 6 months, and a GST invoice on every unit. Ask us for current stock and lead time before committing to a delivery date.
