PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Pharos 5GHz 300Mbps 23dBi Outdoor CPE (CPE610) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The CPE610 is the long-reach 802.11n member of TP-Link's Pharos line: a 23 dBi directional 2x2 MIMO unit with a dedicated metal reflector, which TP-Link rates for wireless transmission up to 30 km. It adds Pharos MAXtream TDMA - a proprietary airtime scheduler - so a point-to-multipoint deployment keeps its throughput and latency as remote sites are added.
23 dBi and a Metal Reflector for Links Up to 30 km
The antenna is the reason this unit exists. A 23 dBi high-gain directional 2x2 MIMO array with a dedicated metal reflector gives a 9° azimuth and 7° elevation beam, and TP-Link states it is ideal for long-distance wireless transmission up to 30 km. That narrow pattern also rejects interference arriving from off-axis, which is what makes a long link stable rather than merely possible. Transmit power is adjustable to a maximum of 25 dBm in 1 dBm steps across 5.15-5.85 GHz.
Pharos MAXtream TDMA for Point-to-Multipoint
With MAXtream enabled the CPE610 leaves standard 802.11a/n contention behind and runs TP-Link's TDMA mode, allocating airtime in scheduled slots instead of letting every remote site compete for the channel. TP-Link credits it with improved throughput, capacity and latency performance. The practical effect shows up in a hub-and-spoke deployment - a central site feeding several remote buildings - where contention-based Wi-Fi degrades sharply as stations are added and a scheduled scheme does not.
Up to 300 Mbps, With Narrow Channels for Noisy Sites
Wireless speeds run up to 300 Mbps at 40 MHz, 144.4 Mbps at 20 MHz, 72.2 Mbps at 10 MHz and 36.1 Mbps at 5 MHz. The 10 and 5 MHz options are worth knowing about: on a congested band or a very long hop, narrowing the channel trades raw rate for a stronger, more reliable link. Maximum power consumption is 8.8 W, and the wired side terminates on a single shielded 10/100 Mbps LAN/PoE port.
IP65 Enclosure With 15 kV ESD and 6 kV Lightning Protection
The casing is outdoor PC stabilized plastic with an IP65 water and dust proof design, carrying 15 kV ESD protection and 6 kV lightning protection - what a mast-mounted radio needs to survive a Singapore storm season. Operating and storage temperature both span -40 to 70 °C. TP-Link's snap-lock parts are designed for fast assembly and a structure that keeps the CPE610 stable in strong winds, which matters on a 30 km link where a few degrees of movement costs signal.
Passive PoE to 60 m and Free Pharos Control Management
Power arrives over the data cable as passive PoE at 16-27 V DC, and the 24 V 0.5 A adapter is supplied along with pole mounting straps, an AC power cord and the installation guide. Management runs through the unit's own HTTPS web interface or the free Pharos Control application, with SNMP v2c, SSH, system log, Ping Watch Dog and dynamic DDNS. Built-in spectrum analyzer, speed test, throughput and CCQ monitors make commissioning and fault-finding a desk job rather than a mast climb.
Ideal For
Singapore estates, industrial parks, marinas, quarries and rural sites bridging distances no copper run will cover, CCTV and access-control backhaul from remote gates, and wireless ISP hub-and-spoke deployments. TP-Link lists the CPE610 as End of Sale, so availability is limited - ask SourceIT about current stock and the current generation. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The CPE610 is a Pharos-series outdoor CPE. It runs TP-Link's PharOS firmware and is managed through its own web interface or the free Pharos Control application - it is not an Omada device and cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller, so it will not appear in an Omada site view alongside Omada gateways, switches and access points.
| Omada Controller | Not supported — the CPE610 runs PharOS and is not adopted by an Omada Controller |
| Pharos Control | Supported — free centralised discovery and remote management of Pharos devices |
| Standalone Management | Supported — HTTP/HTTPS web interface, SSH, SNMP v2c, system log |
| MAXtream TDMA | Proprietary to Pharos devices — both ends of the link must be Pharos units with MAXtream enabled |
| Wireless Interoperability | TP-Link does not publish a cross-model link compatibility matrix — match the model at both ends unless you have confirmed otherwise |
Tell us the two sites, the distance and whether there is clear line of sight, and we will confirm whether this is the right model before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions — CPE610
What is the difference between the CPE610 and the CPE710?
The CPE610 is 802.11a/n at up to 300 Mbps on a 10/100 Mbps port, with MAXtream TDMA and a 25 dBm maximum transmit power. The CPE710 is 802.11ac at up to 867 Mbps on a Gigabit port at 27 dBm. Both use a 23 dBi directional antenna. Choose by the throughput the link has to carry.
Will it really reach 30 km?
TP-Link publishes up to 30 km for this model. Real distance depends on clear line of sight, mounting height, alignment and the local noise floor — send us the two site locations and we will sanity-check the link before you commit.
Can I manage it from my Omada Controller?
No. The CPE610 runs PharOS and is managed through its own web interface or the free Pharos Control application.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty — Pharos Outdoor CPE sits in TP-Link's five-year replacement tier. Every CPE610 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole build — bridge pair, mounting, surge protection, switching and the Omada network behind it — with local warranty and support.
