The Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus for Microsoft Teams (A3LU8AA) is HP's current Teams Rooms compute and control foundation: an HP Mini IP Conference PC (A1ZB6AW) running Windows 11 IoT Enterprise with Microsoft Teams Rooms pre-installed, bundled with a Poly TC10 10.1-inch touch controller (875K5AA). Add the camera and audio that suit the room and you have a certified Teams Room on a compute platform you can standardise across the estate.
Intel Core i7-13700T with 16 Cores and vPro Manageability
The HP Mini IP Conference PC runs a 13th-generation Intel Core i7-13700T (16 cores, 24 threads, up to 4.9 GHz) on the Intel Q670 vPro chipset, with 16 GB DDR5-4800, a 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 770. HP Sure Start Gen 7 provides self-healing BIOS protection. Two SODIMM slots and three M.2 positions leave headroom for longer refresh cycles.
TC10 Touch Controller Powered from the PC's Own PoE Port
The bundled Poly TC10 is a 10.1-inch IPS WXGA 300-nit touchscreen. Uniquely on this kit, the HP Mini IP Conference PC has a dedicated PoE Ethernet port that both powers and connects the TC10 — one purple-booted cable from PC to table, no injector or separate switch port required. HP ships the kit with colour-coded ports and cables to make installation unambiguous.
Complete Connectivity for a Modern Room
Alongside the PoE port, HP's solution guide describes HDMI ingest for room content, HDMI out, DisplayPort, USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and a standard Ethernet port. HP lists Microsoft Teams Rooms as the certified collaboration software for A3LU8AA, with Teams Rooms pre-installed on the HP Mini IP Conference PC (Basic licence; Pro sold separately by Microsoft).
A note on platform claims: the standalone Poly TC10 (875K5AA) is listed by HP as Certified for Microsoft Teams and Certified for Zoom, with support also for 8x8, BlueJeans, GoToRoom, Tencent, RingCentral and Dialpad. The G9 Plus is the newer generation. It uses a 13th-generation Intel Core i7-13700T (16 cores) and the 10.1-inch TC10 controller powered from the PC's own PoE port. The earlier kit uses a 12th-generation Core i7-12700T with the 8-inch GC8 controller on a 10 m optical USB cable.
Do I need a separate PoE injector or switch port for the TC10?
No. HP's G9 Plus solution guide states the HP Mini IP Conference PC has a dedicated PoE Ethernet port that both powers and connects the TC10. HP even colour-codes that cable with purple boots.
Is a camera included?

HP does not state Zoom Rooms certification for A3LU8AA, so we do not claim it. The standalone TC10 controller is separately certified for both Teams and Zoom, but for a Zoom Rooms deployment the correct product is the Poly Zoom Room Base Kit.
