Poly Studio E70 Dual 4K Smart Conference Camera for Large Rooms
The Poly Studio E70 is a premium smart conference camera built around two 20-megapixel 4K sensors and two lenses — a 120° horizontal wide view and a 70° narrow view — working together under Poly DirectorAI. HP rates it for large rooms of 10 or more people, with camera range to 7.62 m (25 ft). It attaches over USB Type-C to a Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms PC, or over PoE Ethernet to a Poly Studio G62 or G7500 codec.
Poly DirectorAI Framing Across Two 4K Sensors
DirectorAI uses both sensors at once for speaker framing, people framing, group framing and a DirectorAI perimeter, switching smoothly between a wide room shot and a tight speaker shot without any moving lens. Capture is 2160p 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) with 7.3x digital zoom and an integrated lens cover, so remote participants see a broadcast-style edit of the room rather than one static wide angle.
Enterprise Networking, PoE and Privacy
One RJ-45 port carries IP video and PoE power (802.3af, 15.4 W, class 3) down a single cable, with 802.1x support and certificate management for corporate LANs. A motorised, integrated electronic privacy shutter closes the lens when the room is not in use — a visible, physical assurance that matters in boardrooms and regulated environments.
Flexible Deployment for Singapore Meeting Rooms
At 321 x 102 x 89.1 mm and 907 g, the E70 mounts neatly above or below a display; a wall mount kit is in the box, with VESA mount and display clamp available separately. The Studio E70 is a camera. HP does not publish an audio specification for this model — room audio is provided by the host system it connects to (for example a Poly G7500 codec, a Poly Studio G62, or a Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms PC with its own audio device). Plan room audio separately.

Compatibility & Software Support
Certified collaboration platforms. HP lists the Poly Studio E70 as certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Google Meet certification is not stated by HP for this model, so we do not claim it.
Host systems. HP states the E70 connects to Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Zoom Rooms on Windows, the Poly Studio G62 and the Poly G7500 codec. A Poly codec is not required — the E70 also works over USB Type-C to a room PC, and HP documents attaching it as an IP camera over PoE Ethernet.
Connection options. One USB Type-C port at 5 Gbps for USB/BYOD device mode, and one RJ-45 for IP attachment. The E70 can be powered over PoE (802.3af, 15.4 W, class 3) or from its external 12 VDC supply.
Network security. 802.1x support and certificate management for enterprise LAN deployment.
Poly Lens management. Poly devices in the Studio range are managed centrally through Poly Lens cloud-based device management for monitoring, provisioning and firmware updates.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly Studio E70
Is the Poly Studio E70 a complete video system, or just a camera?
It is a camera only. The Studio E70 has no speakers or room microphones in its published specification — it supplies the video, and the host system supplies the audio and the meeting app. Pair it with a Poly G7500 codec kit, a Poly Studio G62, or a Microsoft Teams Rooms / Zoom Rooms PC with its own audio. If you want one device that does camera, audio and compute together, look at the Poly Studio X70 all-in-one video bar instead.
Does the Studio E70 have optical zoom or a motorised pan-tilt head?
No. HP specifies 7.3x digital zoom, and publishes no pan/tilt range for the E70 — it is a fixed dual-lens camera that frames electronically using its two sensors. The only motorised part HP lists is the integrated electronic privacy shutter. If you need a mechanical PTZ head with true optical reach, the Poly Studio E60 has 12x optical zoom with motorised pan and tilt.
How does the Studio E70 compare with the Studio E60?
Different tools. The E70 uses two 20 MP 4K sensors and two lenses (120° wide and 70° narrow) with DirectorAI framing over a 7.62 m range, and is PoE class 3 with USB Type-C. The E60 is a 1/2.8-inch CMOS dual-lens MPTZ camera with 12x optical zoom, motorised pan ±170° and tilt ±30°, and a longer 10 m range. Choose the E70 for instant electronic framing in a wide room; choose the E60 when you need optical reach down a long room or presenter tracking across a stage.
Can I run the E70 over Ethernet only, or does it need its own power supply?
HP lists PoE IEEE 802.3af, 15.4 W, class 3 for the Studio E70, so a single PoE Ethernet run can carry both power and IP video. An external 12 VDC / 60 W supply is the alternative where PoE is not available. For USB attachment to a room PC, use the supplied USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable.
What mounting options are available in Singapore?
A wall mount kit is included in the box. SourceIT also stocks the Studio E70 VESA Mount (875K7AA) and the E70/P15/R30 Display Clamp (875K8AA) for display-mounted installations. For rooms with glass walls or bright windows, the E70/X70 Polarized Filter (875K9AA) cuts glare.
Is the Studio E70 certified for Google Meet?
HP states Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification for the Studio E70. Google Meet certification is not listed by HP for this model, so we do not claim it — if Google Meet certification is a procurement requirement, please ask us to confirm the current status with HP before you order.
