Poly Studio R30 — Compact 4K USB Video Bar for Small Rooms
The Poly Studio R30 is HP’s small-room USB bar, rated for three to five people. An 8 MP camera captures 4K UHD at 30 fps across a 120° diagonal field of view, and a monitor clamp in the box puts the whole thing on top of the room display in a couple of minutes. At 445 mm wide and 822 g with the clamp fitted, it suits focus rooms and small huddle spaces where a full-size bar would dominate the display.
8 MP 4K Camera with Poly DirectorAI Framing
The R30 records 2160p 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps with a 120° DFOV and 110° HFOV. Poly DirectorAI adds group framing, people framing, speaker framing and presenter tracking, and manual pan, tilt and zoom control is available when you want a fixed shot. Zoom is rated 5x without tracking and 4x with auto-tracking. A removable privacy cap covers the lens between meetings.
Three-Element Beamforming Array with NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence
Three beamforming microphone elements cover a pickup range of 4.57 m (15 ft) — the right size for a small room. Poly NoiseBlockAI suppresses background noise, Poly Acoustic Fence keeps voices from outside the meeting area out of the call, and Poly Acoustic Clarity handles full-duplex echo cancellation. The integrated speaker delivers 90 dB SPL at 0.5 m across 100 Hz to 20 kHz.
Plug-and-Play USB-C, Managed by Poly Lens
One USB-C cable carries video and audio to any Windows or macOS host; a 5 m USB-C to USB-A cable is supplied, which is usually enough to reach a table or a wall-mounted PC. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 are also on board, and the R30 is UAC and UVC plug-and-play so it works with any standards-based application. Fleet firmware and monitoring run through Poly Lens.
