Poly Voyager Legend 50 Wireless Bluetooth Headset (AV4P1AA) - Local Warranty
Poly Voyager Legend 50 Mono Bluetooth Headset — Full Datasheet and Specifications
The Poly Voyager Legend 50 is a single-ear (monaural) in-ear Bluetooth headset with four noise-cancelling microphones, WindSmart wind-noise reduction and Bluetooth Core 5.4, weighing just 20.5 g. The Legend 50 adds Poly NoiseBlockAI, which uses machine learning to identify and block background noise. It is built for professionals who take calls on the move and need to be understood the first time — on a worksite, in a taxi, or walking along a windy Marina Bay walkway.
Four Noise-Cancelling Microphones with WindSmart and NoiseBlockAI
Four noise-cancelling microphones on a 74.8 mm boom pick up your voice across a 100 Hz to 8 kHz band at −37 dB FS/Pa sensitivity, while WindSmart technology tames wind and airflow noise that ruins outdoor calls. Poly NoiseBlockAI adds machine-learning background-noise suppression on top, so keyboard clatter, traffic and office chatter are identified and blocked rather than merely attenuated. The result is a headset that holds up outdoors and in traffic, not just in a quiet meeting room.
Bluetooth Core 5.4, 30 m Range and Multipoint
Bluetooth Core 5.4 gives up to 30 m (98 ft) of range and multipoint, so the headset holds two devices at once from up to eight paired — typically your laptop and your phone. This SKU connects to computers and smartphones over native Bluetooth; it does not include a BT700 USB adapter — see the ordering table below for the SKUs that do. Supported profiles are A2DP 1.3, DID 1.3, HSP 1.2, BAS 0.0, AVRCP 1.5 and HFP 1.6.
Ten Hours of Talk Time
Poly rates the Voyager Legend 50 at up to 10 hours of talk time from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, with a full charge in under 1.5 hours over USB Type-C. The portable charge case, which adds a further 20 hours, is not included with this SKU and is sold separately; plan on the 10-hour figure for this part number.
Certified for Microsoft Teams, TCO Certified, Managed with Poly Lens
HP states the Voyager Legend 50 is certified for Microsoft Teams both as a USB device and over native Bluetooth, and is compatible with Zoom, Chromebook and Google Meet. The headset carries the TCO Certified ecolabel — increasingly a requirement in Singapore government and MNC procurement — and is managed through the free Poly Lens Desktop and Mobile apps for settings and firmware.

Specifications are taken from HP's published product-specification tables and the HP Poly Voyager Legend 50 Series product page for this exact part number. Figures HP does not publish for this model — standby time, IP rating, battery capacity in mAh, a quick-charge claim, Bluetooth codec support and operating temperature — have been left out rather than estimated. In particular, no IP rating is published for this headset, so we make no water or sweat-resistance claim.
Compatibility & Software Support

Connecting to a computer. This SKU does not include the BT700 USB adapter, so it connects to a laptop over the machine's built-in Bluetooth radio. That works, and Teams certification covers native Bluetooth as well as USB — but on a busy office floor with many Bluetooth devices, a dedicated adapter is measurably more reliable. If you are deploying to a shared office rather than a single mobile user, consider the BT700 SKUs in the ordering table below.
Poly Lens management. Poly Lens is free and optional for a single user, and worth deploying for a fleet: it handles firmware, per-device configuration and reporting across Poly headsets and room devices from one console.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly Voyager Legend 50
Does this SKU include the BT700 adapter or the charge case?
No — neither. HP's published box contents for AV4P1AA are the headset, a USB Type-C charging cable, a USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter and the quick start guide. This is the Bluetooth-direct, cable-charged SKU. If you need the BT700 USB adapter for a reliable computer link, or the portable charge case for travel, order AJ8V4AA or AT9M9AA instead — both include both items.
How does the Voyager Legend 50 compare with the Voyager Legend 30?
They share the same platform — Bluetooth Core 5.4, a 13.6 mm driver, 20.5 g, four noise-cancelling microphones, WindSmart, up to 10 hours of talk time and 30 m of range. The Legend 50 adds Poly NoiseBlockAI machine-learning noise suppression, which HP does not list for the Legend 30. If most of your calls happen in noisy environments, NoiseBlockAI is the reason to pay the difference. If you mainly need a clean, comfortable single-ear Bluetooth headset, the Legend 30 does the job for less.
Is this headset suitable for outdoor and on-the-move calling in Singapore?
That is precisely what it is designed for. Four noise-cancelling microphones plus WindSmart wind-noise reduction, plus Poly NoiseBlockAI machine-learning noise suppression target the two things that ruin mobile calls here: wind along the waterfront and open-air traffic noise. The single-ear design keeps your other ear open to your surroundings, which matters for safety when you are walking or on a site. Do note that HP publishes no IP rating for this model, so we make no claim about rain or sweat resistance.
How many hours will it actually run, and what is the charge time?
Poly rates the headset at up to 10 hours of talk time, with a full charge in under 1.5 hours over USB Type-C. Note that HP's specification page quotes “up to 30 hours” for this platform — that figure includes 20 hours from the portable charge case, which is not in the box with this SKU. Plan on 10 hours as supplied. HP does not publish a standby-time figure for this headset, so we do not quote one.
Do I need a licence, subscription or dongle to use it?
No licence and no subscription. This SKU connects over native Bluetooth and does not include a USB adapter — if you want one, the BT700 SKUs are in the ordering table above. Poly Lens Desktop and Mobile are free and optional, used for settings and firmware updates; the host PC needs Windows 10 or higher to run Poly Lens.
Can I connect it to my laptop and my phone at the same time?
Yes. Bluetooth Core 5.4 with multipoint holds two connections at once from up to eight paired devices, with a range of up to 30 m (98 ft). Certification for Microsoft Teams covers both the USB-device path and native Bluetooth.
Does this headset come with a Singapore warranty and a GST invoice?
Yes. Every Poly Voyager Legend 50 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
