The short-throw lens covers a throw ratio of 0.79 to 1.36, so an 80-inch image needs only 1.37 to 2.34 metres of distance. In a typical Singapore meeting room or classroom that means the projector sits close to the screen rather than at the back wall, which keeps presenters out of the light path and cuts the shadows and glare that make people squint.
