The EB-L690E delivers 6,500 lumens of colour light output and 6,500 lumens of white light output, rising to 7,100 lumens measured at the centre of the image. At that level a 150-inch screen stays legible in a lecture theatre with the lights up or a hotel ballroom with chandeliers running. Epson's 4K Enhancement pixel shifting places 4.6 million pixels on screen from a native WUXGA panel, sharpening small type, spreadsheet gridlines and CAD linework. Dynamic contrast is rated at over 5,000,000:1, which gives video and photographic content real depth.
Wi-Fi 6 Wireless Casting and Cloud Fleet Management
Wireless LAN is built in on this model, and Epson specifies Wi-Fi 6 for fast, reliable screen casting with WPA3-Enterprise security so IT can put the projector on the corporate network without exception. The same connection reaches Epson Projector Management Connected, Epson's cloud service for monitoring and managing a fleet of projectors across sites. The projector measures 440 x 122 x 304 mm excluding feet and weighs approximately 8.2 kg.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs and one HDBaseT input all carry HDCP 2.3, covering room PCs, laptops, conferencing codecs and long Cat 6 runs from a remote source rack. An HDMI output loops the HDMI 1 input to a confidence monitor or a second projector. This model is digital-input only — there is no D-Sub 15-pin computer input — so a VGA-only source needs a converter. A stereo mini audio output passes sound to a room system if the 10W internal speaker is not enough.

Is the EB-L690E a true 4K projector?
No. The panel is WUXGA and Epson's 4K Enhancement shifts each pixel to place 4.6 million pixels on screen, roughly double the native count. The result is visibly sharper text and fine detail than plain WUXGA, but it is not a native 4K imager.
Does it have built-in Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wireless LAN is built in, and Epson specifies Wi-Fi 6 with WPA3-Enterprise security, so it can join a corporate network without a separate adapter. A 100Mbps wired LAN port is also fitted.
Does it have a VGA input?
