APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV 19in Rail Kit 780mm Depth for Rackmount SRV SRVL
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV 19-inch Rail Kit up to 780mm Depth for Rackmount SRV and SRVL Models (SRVRK1) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Standard Rail Kit for Easy UPS On-Line Rackmount Units
The APC SRVRK1 is the 19-inch sliding rail kit Schneider specifies for the Easy UPS On-Line SRV and SRVL rackmount units. Schneider's Singapore product page calls it the “SRV 19" Rail Kit, 780mm depth” — some regional pages title it 700 mm — and lists it as supporting rack-mount installation of Easy UPS in a 19-inch rack, adjustable to a mounting depth of up to 780 mm, for equipment weighing up to 60 kg.
This is the standalone rail kit. If you have bought one of our “RK” kit part numbers — the SRV1KRIRK-E, SRV2KRIRK-E, SRV3KRIRK-E, the SRV1/2/3KRI with rail kit, or any of the SRVL rack/tower kits — the SRVRK1 rails are already in the carton and there is nothing more to order. Buy this part when you have a rack UPS or battery pack that came without rails, when you are moving an existing unit into a different cabinet, or when a second pack needs its own rails.
Which Units It Fits, According to Schneider
Schneider's statements about the SRVRK1 are consistent across the range. The user manual for the 5, 6 and 10 kVA rack models (990-91616) names the SRVRK1 as the optional rail kit for the UPS — SRV5KRI, SRV6KRI and SRV10KRI — and the SRVRK2 for their battery pack. The 1–3 kVA rack kits and the lithium-ion SRVL kits bundle the SRVRK1 in the carton, and Schneider pictures it on the page for the 72 V SRV72RLBP-9A battery pack. The rule of thumb that follows: SRVRK1 for any Easy UPS On-Line SRV or SRVL rack chassis up to 60 kg and 780 mm deep, SRVRK2 for the heavier 3U battery packs.
Why the Rail Kit Matters
Front mounting brackets alone hold a 2U UPS to the front posts; they do not carry the weight. A 2 kVA rack UPS weighs 18 kg and its 72 V battery pack 42.5 kg, and a cantilevered load of that size will bend the brackets and pull the cage nuts over time. Sliding rails carry the weight on the front and rear posts and let you draw the unit forward for a battery change without unplugging the load. In a Singapore comms cabinet that has to be kept tidy for tenancy inspections, that is the difference between a five-minute battery swap and a shutdown.

Cabinet Depth
The rails adjust to a post-to-post depth of up to 780 mm. Measure between the front and rear mounting posts, not the cabinet's outside dimension: a nominal 800 mm cabinet typically has posts 650–750 mm apart, which suits this kit, while a 1000 mm cabinet may have its posts further apart than 780 mm and need repositioning. The rails need front and rear posts; they will not mount in a two-post relay rack or a wall-mount cabinet without rear posts.
Weight Limit
Keep to Schneider's 60 kg rating. Every SRV rack UPS chassis and the 36 V / 72 V packs are well inside it; the 3U SRV240RLBP-9A and SRV120RLBP2-9A packs are not, and Schneider assigns them the SRVRK2.

Frequently Asked Questions — APC SRVRK1
Which Easy UPS models does the SRVRK1 fit?
Schneider describes it as the rail kit for Easy UPS Rackmount SRV and SRVL models up to 60 kg and 780 mm mounting depth. It names it for the SRV5KRI / SRV6KRI / SRV10KRI UPS chassis in the 5–10 kVA user manual, bundles it in the 1–3 kVA SRV and SRVL rack kits, and pictures it with the SRV72RLBP-9A pack. Send us your UPS part number and we will confirm.
My UPS part number ends in RK or RILRK — do I need this?
No. The RK in those part numbers means the rail kit is already in the carton. Buy the SRVRK1 only for a unit that came without rails, for a relocation, or for an additional battery pack that needs its own rails.
Is it 700 mm or 780 mm?
Both figures appear on Schneider's regional pages. The Singapore page is titled 780 mm and the feature list reads “up to 780 mm depth rail kit”, so 780 mm is the figure we quote for the maximum post-to-post depth. Measure between your front and rear posts before ordering.
Can I use it for the SRV240RLBP-9A or SRV120RLBP2-9A battery packs?
No. Those 3U packs weigh 63–64 kg, above this kit's 60 kg rating, and Schneider assigns them the SRVRK2 (900 mm, 100 kg). Use the SRVRK1 for the UPS chassis and the 2U packs only.
Will it work in a two-post rack or a wall cabinet?
No. The rails need front and rear mounting posts. A wall cabinet or two-post relay rack can take the front mounting brackets that ship with the UPS, but the weight is then cantilevered and Schneider's brackets are not intended to carry a 42.5 kg battery pack that way.
Does it fit Smart-UPS SRT or Smart-UPS RT units?
No. Those ranges use their own kits — SRTRK2 and SRTRK4 for Smart-UPS SRT, SRTGRK1 and SRTGRK2 for Smart-UPS RT — and the mounting points differ.
What is in the box?
Schneider does not itemise the carton on the product page. The installation guide shows a pair of rail assemblies with rail sliders, nuts and M6 screws. Email sales@sourceit.com.sg if you need the guide before you order.
Does it come with a Singapore warranty and a GST invoice?
Yes. Every APC SRVRK1 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; APC backs the SRVRK1 with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
