Yealink UVC Camera Guide: UVC20 to SmartVision S80 Singapore
Yealink's UVC camera range runs from a S$120 personal webcam to a quad-lens 20x PTZ camera for boardrooms, and the right one depends on how many people sit in the room and whether the camera will live in a BYOD room, a Microsoft Teams Rooms kit or a Zoom Rooms kit. The models SourceIT supplies in Singapore are the Yealink UVC20 (S$120), Yealink UVC30 Desktop and Content Camera Kit, Yealink UVC40 E2 USB video bar (S$645), Yealink UVC34, Yealink UVC86 dual-eye tracking camera, Yealink MTower centre-of-table camera, and the Yealink SmartVision S40 and SmartVision S80 AI cameras that sit inside the MVC S40, S80 and S98 room kits. This guide gives the verified resolution, field of view and tracking features of each, and shows which kit uses which camera. For the full line, see our Yealink Singapore buyer's guide.

Room bands are our sizing convention (huddle up to 4, small 4 to 6, medium 6 to 12, large 12 to 20, boardroom 20+); Yealink describes these cameras by room class rather than seat count. Price-on-request items are quoted per room configuration. Yealink's standard warranty applies; confirm the term for your SKU when requesting a quote.
Yealink UVC20 and UVC30: personal cameras and the content camera
The Yealink UVC20 USB 1080p webcam is the entry point: a 5,000,000-pixel glass lens delivering 1080p, EPTZ control with autofocus and a rotatable lens, a built-in lens cap, automatic exposure with a low-light mode, and one omnidirectional microphone rated for 180° pickup to 4.9 ft. It is plug-and-play on any platform and can be monitored from Yealink USB Connect. Yealink lists the UVC20 as discontinued since 15 March 2024, and it shows no stock on hand, so it is available to order while supply lasts at S$120.
The Yealink UVC30 Desktop 4K USB camera steps up to 4K/30 with a 120° field of view, face-detection auto framing, a single microphone with 150° pickup to 6.6 ft and Windows Hello certification for face login; Yealink lists it as discontinued since 17 June 2024, and we have units in stock at price on request. The Yealink UVC30 Content Camera Kit uses the same UVC30 Room camera, which Yealink states is certified by Microsoft and Zoom, as a second USB camera pointed at a physical whiteboard inside a Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms kit, so remote participants see the board as a shared content stream rather than a blurry wall. If you only need a personal 4K camera for a Teams desk, this is where the range starts; everything below is for rooms.
Yealink UVC40 E2 and UVC34: all-in-one USB video bars
For a huddle or small room the camera, microphones and speaker should come as one bar, and Yealink makes two. The Yealink UVC40 E2 all-in-one USB 4K video bar (S$645, in stock) has a 4K camera behind a 120° super-wide lens, Smart Area Exposure, Auto Framing and Speaker Tracking, eight MEMS microphones with beamforming and full-duplex audio, an electric lens cap and a high-fidelity speaker, with optional VCM36-W wireless or VCM35 wired expansion microphones. The Yealink UVC34 is the earlier bar: 8MP 1/2.8-inch sensor at 4K/30, 120° field of view, 5x e-PTZ with auto framing, eight microphones rated for 4.5 m, a 5W speaker, USB 2.0 plus built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, and a 7 m USB cable, remote and wall bracket in the box. Both are USB (BYOD) devices rather than Teams Rooms appliances; our Yealink BYOD kits guide explains how to pair them with the BYOD-BOX.
Yealink UVC86: the dual-eye tracking camera for medium and large rooms
The Yealink UVC86 4K dual-eye intelligent tracking camera is the workhorse PTZ camera in Yealink's Teams and Zoom kits. Two 8MP Sony sensors share one housing: a panoramic lens (120° diagonal, 110° horizontal) detects where people are, and a PTZ lens (90° diagonal, 81° horizontal) with 12x optical zoom and 20.4x total HD zoom frames them. Pan is ±100°, tilt +40° to -90°, with nine presets and autofocus from 1 m to infinity. The AI modes are Auto Framing, Speaker Tracking, Presenter Tracking (Wide Area, Stage and Segment modes), Picture-in-Picture and Multi Focus. Ports are USB 3.0 Type-B, USB 2.0 Type-A, a VCH (RJ45) port for Yealink audio devices or a BYOD extender, 3.5 mm line-in and an HDMI output for VCS codecs. The box holds a VCR20 remote, power adapter, wall bracket and a 7 m USB cable (2.5 m in MVC bundles); the UVC8X TV, wall and ceiling mount kit is S$47.25. Price on request; quoted per room configuration. It has no microphones of its own, so plan room audio (VCM35, VCM36-W, CP50 and CPE40, or ceiling microphones) alongside it.
Yealink SmartVision S40 and S80: the AI cameras inside the MVC kits
Yealink's current Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows kits are built around the SmartVision cameras rather than the UVC86. The Yealink SmartVision S40 is an all-in-one unit for small to medium rooms with dual 48MP lenses and a 120° field of view, IntelliFocus close-ups of recent speakers, Video Fence to limit what remote participants see and hear, an electric privacy shutter, an 8-microphone MEMS beamforming array with support for two expansion microphones, and two stereo speakers. It is the camera and audio in the MVC S40, alongside the MCore Pro mini-PC and MTouch E2 touch panel.
The Yealink SmartVision S80 4K quad-eye 20x optical PTZ camera is the large-room flagship: a panoramic lens, two telephoto lenses and a PTZ lens with 20x optical zoom that Yealink rates for subjects up to 20 m away, driven by a Qualcomm QCS8550 chip. Its modes are IntelliFocus, Presenter Tracking with lossless zoom, Multi-camera IntelliFocus and Best-view Switching, plus Multi-Stream IntelliFrame, which gives each in-room participant their own tile and name tag and is supported only inside Yealink's Teams Rooms on Windows kits. A four-microphone array handles sound localisation (room audio is separate), it supports NDI, and Yealink lists Dante as coming in a future version. It ships in the MVC S80 and MVC S98, where the S98's MCST 2.0 supports two, three or four cameras. Both SmartVision cameras are price on request. Our Yealink Microsoft Teams Rooms systems guide maps every MVC kit to room size.
Yealink MTower: the centre-of-table 322° camera
The Yealink MTower Center-View 322° intelligent camera solves the problem a front-of-room camera cannot: seeing faces, not profiles, around a medium table. Three 4K cameras (an 84.4° telephoto plus two 151° wide-angle side cameras) give a 322° view from the middle of the table, a Qualcomm QCS8550 chip runs best-view switching between front and centre perspectives, 6+1 microphones pick up 360° to 6 m with AI noise reduction, and a magnetic-levitation privacy shutter opens and closes automatically. Yealink shows it as certified for Microsoft Teams and lists dual MTower as compatible with the MVC S50 and the MeetingBar A50. Price on request.
Which Yealink kit uses which camera?
The mapping is the fastest way to choose. Huddle and small BYOD rooms: UVC40 E2 or UVC34 on their own. Small to medium Teams rooms on Windows: MVC S40 with SmartVision S40. Medium Teams rooms needing centre-of-table views: MVC S50 or MeetingBar A50 with MTower. Medium and large Teams or Zoom rooms with a PTZ camera: the MVC and ZVC S-series kits with UVC86, or the UVC85-BYOD-200 for BYOD. Large rooms and boardrooms: MVC S80 and S98 with SmartVision S80, adding a second camera where the room is long. Whiteboard capture in any native kit: UVC30 Content Camera Kit. The room-by-room logic, including mic pickup and dual-screen rules, is in our Yealink video conferencing by room size guide.
What we see in Singapore deployments: most medium rooms we quote still use a single front-of-room camera with Auto Framing; Speaker Tracking and Presenter Tracking matter once the room is a training space or a boardroom longer than about 6 m, which is where the UVC86 and SmartVision S80 earn their cost. Field of view is the figure buyers most often get wrong: a 120° bar at the front of a long table shows the far end as small faces, so for anything past six seats we move to a PTZ camera with optical zoom rather than a wider lens.
