Yealink Zoom Rooms Guide Singapore: ZVC Kits & MeetingBar

If your organisation runs Zoom, Yealink gives you three ways to build a Zoom Room in Singapore: the Yealink ZVC S40, S50, S80, S90 and S98 kits, which run Zoom Rooms on a Yealink MCore mini PC with an MTouch Plus console; the Yealink MeetingBar A10, A25, A40 and A50, which run Zoom Rooms as a Zoom Rooms Appliance inside the bar; and the Yealink MeetingBoard Pro, an interactive display with the camera, microphones and Zoom Rooms built in. The ZVC kits use the same cameras, mini PC and console as Yealink's MVC Teams Rooms kits, so the room-size logic is identical and only the software platform changes. This guide lists what is in each ZVC kit, which MeetingBar fits which room, and where the MeetingBoard makes more sense than a bar. Every Zoom Rooms system here is price on request, quoted per room configuration.

Is Yealink certified for Zoom Rooms?

Zoom's own hardware catalogue lists the MeetingBar A10 under Zoom Rooms Appliances with a Certified label, and Yealink titles the A25, A40 and A50 product pages "Zoom Rooms Appliances" and describes its kits as preconfigured for Zoom Rooms and managed through the Zoom Device Management platform (ZDM). Zoom certification is granted per model and firmware, so for the ZVC S-series kits and the MeetingBoard Pro we confirm the current Zoom certification status of the exact SKU when we quote, rather than print a blanket claim here. The practical difference between an appliance and a kit is the operating system: a MeetingBar or MeetingBoard runs Zoom Rooms on Android 13 inside the device, while a ZVC kit runs the Zoom Rooms software on the Windows-based MCore mini PC, which is the route Yealink uses when a room needs more than one camera, an AVHub or a Dante DSP. Either way, Zoom licenses Zoom Rooms per room and the licence is not included in the hardware; tell us whether you already hold Zoom Rooms licences and we will quote accordingly.

What is inside each Yealink ZVC kit?

The ZVC S40, S50, S80 and S98 share the Yealink MCore 4 mini PC (Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, 16 GB DDR5, 256 GB SSD, three HDMI outputs with CEC, HDMI-in for 4K content sharing, four USB 3.0 ports), the 11.6-inch MTouch Plus touch console connected by a single Cat5e cable, and a RoomSensor for occupancy, temperature, humidity and light. The ZVC S40 adds the SmartVision 40 all-in-one bar: two 48 MP cameras stitched to a 120° view, an 8-microphone array with 6 m pickup, 2 x 10 W stereo speakers and room for two expansion microphones, for small to medium rooms. The ZVC S50 uses the MeetingBar A50 in USB mode as its camera and audio, three 50 MP cameras, a 16-microphone array with 10 m pickup and four speakers, for medium to large rooms of roughly 10 to 20 participants. The ZVC S80 swaps the bar for the SmartVision 80, a quad-lens 4K PTZ camera with 20x optical zoom and presenter tracking to 20 m, with room microphones and speakers chosen separately for large rooms. The ZVC S90 is the UVC86-based Pro AV kit with an AVHub and BYOD-Extender on the MCore Pro, available to order, and the ZVC S98 ships three SmartVision 80 cameras, an AVHub and an RCH40 E2 PoE+ switch for boardrooms, training centres and divisible rooms. If you already own a camera and displays, the MCoreKit-C5U-ZR base kit supplies the MCore 4 and MTouch Plus alone, and the MCore4-ZR mini PC is sold on its own for replacements. The Teams versions of the same kits are covered in our Yealink Microsoft Teams Rooms systems guide.

Which MeetingBar runs Zoom Rooms, and for which room?

All four current MeetingBars are Android appliances that load Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Rooms, and two Zoom-only features show up in their spec sheets: Smart Gallery, which sends individual participant frames to the far end, and ZDM management. Yealink positions the MeetingBar A10 for small spaces and home offices, with a 4K sensor, 120° field of view, 4.5 m pickup and a 5 W speaker; the MeetingBar A25 for focus rooms, where its 151° ultra-wide lens keeps two to five people seated against the display in frame; the MeetingBar A40 for small to medium rooms, with two 48 MP cameras, 6 m pickup, 2 x 10 W speakers, dual 4K display output and two expansion microphones; and the MeetingBar A50 for medium to large rooms, with three 50 MP cameras, 10 m pickup, four speakers and support for extension and ceiling microphones. Each pairs with a CTP25 touch console (CTP18 for the A10) over one Cat5e cable that carries power and network, and a single USB-C cable from the console gives guests 4K sharing, BYOD and laptop charging. When you request a quote, tell us the room is for Zoom so we supply the Zoom firmware variant. Our MeetingBar A10 vs A25 vs A40 vs A50 comparison has the camera and audio detail.

When is the MeetingBoard Pro the better Zoom Rooms choice?

The Yealink MeetingBoard Pro replaces the display, bar and whiteboard with one unit: a 4K anti-glare multi-touch screen in 65, 75 or 86 inches with a built-in triple 50 MP camera system, a 16-microphone array with full-duplex pickup up to 12 m and two 36 W speakers. Yealink's own sizing puts the MeetingBoard 65 Pro in rooms of 1 to 6 people, the MeetingBoard 75 Pro at 6 to 12 and the MeetingBoard 86 Pro at 12 to 20. It runs Zoom Rooms on Android, or Zoom Rooms on Windows if you fit the MCore-OPS-G2 Windows OPS compute module, price on request. Choose it over a bar when the room is used for ideation, training or teaching and people will stand at the screen; choose a bar plus a conventional display when the room is seat-and-present only and you want the lowest cost. The floor stand with tray for the 65 Pro is S$795.00 and the MB-Stylus-4A is S$50.00. Our earlier post on the Yealink MeetingBoard for Microsoft Teams Room and Zoom Room covers the whiteboard workflow.

Which Yealink Zoom Rooms system for which room size?

Huddle (up to 4): MeetingBar A10 or A25 with a console. Small (4-6): MeetingBar A40 with CTP25, or ZVC S40 if IT prefers a Windows-based kit, or a MeetingBoard 65 Pro where whiteboarding matters. Medium (6-12): MeetingBar A50 with CTP25 as the appliance, ZVC S50 as the kit, MeetingBoard 75 Pro as the all-in-one; plan dual displays and an expansion microphone once the table passes about 4 m. Large (12-20): ZVC S80 with VCM35 or VCM36-W table microphones or a CM50 ceiling microphone, or the MeetingBoard 86 Pro. Boardroom and Pro AV (20+): ZVC S90 or S98 with ceiling microphones, the AP08 Dante DSP and CS10-D loudspeakers. In the rooms we quote in Singapore, the most common Zoom room above six seats is an A50 with one expansion microphone and two displays. The reasoning behind these cut-offs is in our video conferencing system by room size guide.
