Lenovo ThinkVision S22-4e 21.5-inch FHD Monitor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkVision S22-4e (64CBKAR6MY) - 3 Years Local Warranty
A 21.5-Inch Full HD IPS Monitor at 100 Hz That Draws 10.5 Watts
The ThinkVision S22-4e is the most efficient monitor in this range: 10.5 W typical, 20 W maximum, on a 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel running 100 Hz with 99% sRGB coverage (CIE 1931) and 1300:1 contrast. It carries a C-class EU energy label, the best in this group.
99% sRGB and IPS at This Price Is the Point
Value monitors often cut the panel first. Lenovo does not here: 99% sRGB coverage, 178° viewing angles in both axes and a 3-side NearEdgeless IPS panel. Colours are right and the picture holds up when someone leans in from the side — which a cheap TN panel cannot do.
Two Corrections to This Listing
This page previously stated the warranty as one year and carried an unfinished internal editing note where a proper warranty line should have been. Lenovo publishes a 3-year limited warranty for this model. Both are corrected here, and every unit SourceIT sells also carries local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
Know What It Does Not Have Before You Order
No USB ports of any kind. No speakers. No headphone jack. A tilt-only stand. Video is HDMI 1.4b or VGA. That is the honest specification of a monitor at this price, and none of it is a defect — but all four surprise buyers who assume otherwise, so we state them up front.
Specification note. Every figure on this page is taken from Lenovo's own PSREF specification sheet for the ThinkVision S22-4e, with any item drawn from Lenovo's product datasheet instead labelled as such in the table. Lenovo publishes monitor specifications per model rather than per part number — the PSREF sheet we link does not itself list this SKU, and the suffix on a part number governs market and packaging rather than the panel or the ports. Where Lenovo publishes no figure, this page says so rather than estimating one, and where two Lenovo documents disagree we show the disagreement. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit
Where this monitor is exactly right. A second screen beside a laptop, a hot desk, a training room, a counter position, a call-centre floor, a school lab. Anywhere you need a genuinely decent picture in quantity and the budget has to stretch. At 10.5 W a room of thirty of these draws less than a single large 4K display.
Where it is not. A primary all-day workstation for someone who will never adjust the height, or a desk that needs a USB hub, speakers or a headphone socket from the monitor. Those are T-series and P-series requirements, and both ranges are a different price. Tell us which desks are which and we will mix the specification sensibly rather than putting one model everywhere.
The stand, and the cheap fix for it. Tilt only, -5° to +22°, on a fixed-height base. The monitor has a VESA 100 x 100 mm pattern, so a basic monitor arm turns it into a fully adjustable setup for a fraction of the price difference to a T-series model. For a floor of desks that is often the better-value combination, and we can quote the arms with the monitors.
Two inputs, one of them VGA. HDMI 1.4b and VGA, with the HDMI cable supplied. No DisplayPort. If a desk needs two modern sources on one screen, this is not the model — the S27i-30 in the ordering table has two HDMI inputs.
Where the E and S series sit in Lenovo's own words. Lenovo positions the ThinkVision E series as "Comfortable Viewing for Everyday Users" and the S series as "Basic Displays for Simple Experiences", against "Enhanced Productivity" for the T series and "Best-in-Class Performance" for the P series. Lenovo publishes no expansion of what the letters stand for, so neither do we. In practice the difference that matters on a desk is the stand: most E and S models are tilt-only, while every T and P model offers 155 mm of height adjustment, swivel and pivot.

Datasheet & Downloads
PSREF is Lenovo's own Product Specifications Reference and is the source for every figure on this page unless the table says otherwise. PSREF publishes its spec sheets per model rather than per part number, so this SKU does not appear inside the PDF itself; a per-part-number detail page also exists at psref.lenovo.com and will render in a normal browser if you need this exact configuration confirmed before ordering. Ask us and we will pull it for you.
Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision S22-4e
Is the warranty one year or three?
Three. Lenovo PSREF states a 3-year limited warranty for this model. Our earlier version of this page said one year and left an unfinished internal editing note in the warranty line. Neither should have been visible to a customer, and both are corrected here.
Does it have USB ports?
No. Lenovo publishes no USB ports of any kind on this model. If you need a monitor that also acts as a USB hub, or that docks a laptop over USB-C, the ThinkVision T-series and P-series are the ranges to look at — tell us what the desk needs and we will point you at the right one.
Does the stand adjust for height?
No. Lenovo publishes tilt only, -5° to +22°, on a fixed-height stand — there is no height adjustment, no swivel and no pivot. That is the main thing separating this monitor from the ThinkVision T-series, which offers 155 mm of lift. If getting the screen to eye level matters — and for anyone at a desk all day it should — budget for a VESA 100 x 100 mm monitor arm, which we can quote alongside.
Does it have speakers or a headphone socket?
Neither. Lenovo publishes no speakers and no audio jack of any kind for this model — there is no audio path through the monitor. Sound comes from the PC.
Is 100 Hz useful on an office monitor?
Mildly. Scrolling and mouse movement look smoother than at 60 Hz; nothing in office work depends on it. It is a genuine specification rather than a marketing number, but do not choose this monitor for it — choose it for 99% sRGB on an IPS panel at 10.5 W.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Lenovo PSREF states a 3-year limited warranty as the base warranty for this model, and every unit SourceIT sells comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.
