The model-number question, and how we are handling it. We would rather show you an open question than close it with a guess. Lenovo's PSREF database indexes part number 63ABMAR3WW under the ThinkVision E24-29; our listing title says E24-28. Every specification the two models share — and that is nearly all of them — is published above as fact. The two that differ, panel type and contrast ratio, are shown as two possibilities rather than one invented answer. We are confirming with our distributor and will correct the title. In the meantime, ask us and we will tell you exactly what is in the warehouse.

Does the difference matter to you? If the monitor is for documents, email, spreadsheets and line-of-business software, probably not — both panels are 250 nits at 178° viewing angles with the same colour coverage. Where it matters: VA at 3000:1 gives deeper blacks, which suits dark-mode work and dimmer rooms, while IPS at 1000:1 is generally more consistent off-axis. If a room full of these will be viewed from odd angles, or if dark-background applications dominate, tell us and we will make sure you get the right one.

The stand is genuinely unusual for this price. 155 mm of height adjustment, 360° of swivel and full pivot — a specification most of Lenovo's E and S range does not offer, and a swivel range wider than the T-series. If you are equipping desks where people sit all day and you cannot stretch to a T-series monitor, this stand is the strongest argument in this whole ordering table.

Speakers but no headphone socket. Lenovo publishes 1.5 W x 2 integrated speakers and no 3.5 mm audio-out for this model — the reverse of most monitors in this range, which have a jack and no speakers. Headphones connect to the PC.

One more thing our old page did badly. The previous version of this listing told visitors the product had been withdrawn and sent them to the E24-30, whose page sent them on again to the E24-40 — two dead ends in a row for anyone actually trying to buy something. Both pages have been rebuilt. Ask us about availability directly and we will give you a straight answer, including the current equivalent if this model is genuinely end-of-life for us.

Where the E and S series sit in Lenovo's own words. Lenovo positions the ThinkVision E series as "Comfortable Viewing for Everyday Users" and the S series as "Basic Displays for Simple Experiences", against "Enhanced Productivity" for the T series and "Best-in-Class Performance" for the P series. Lenovo publishes no expansion of what the letters stand for, so neither do we. In practice the difference that matters on a desk is the stand: most E and S models are tilt-only, while every T and P model offers 155 mm of height adjustment, swivel and pivot.

Which is better, the IPS or the VA panel?

Neither, in the abstract. VA at 3000:1 gives deeper blacks and suits dark-background applications and dimly lit rooms. IPS at 1000:1 is generally the more consistent performer when viewed off-axis. Both publish 178° viewing angles and 250 cd/m². Tell us how and where the monitor will be used and we will tell you which one you want.

Does the stand adjust for height?

Yes, and generously — 155 mm of height adjustment, 360° of swivel and -90° to +90° of pivot. That is a better stand than most monitors at this level offer and a wider swivel than the T-series. For a desk someone occupies all day it is the most valuable specification on this page.

Does it have speakers?

Yes — 1.5 W x 2 integrated. Note that Lenovo publishes no headphone jack for this model, which is the opposite of most monitors in this range. Sound comes out of the monitor; headphones go into the PC.

Does it have USB ports?
