Lenovo ThinkVision S25e-30 24.5-inch Monitor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkVision S25e-30 (63E0KAR4WW) - 3 Years Local Warranty
A 24.5-Inch VA Panel at 3000:1 — Deep Blacks on a Value Monitor
The ThinkVision S25e-30 is a 24.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Vertical Alignment display publishing 3000:1 typical contrast, roughly three times what the IPS models beside it manage. On dark-background applications and in dimly-lit rooms that is the difference between blacks that read as black and blacks that read as grey.
Two Corrections to This Listing
Our previous version of this page described the panel as IPS and the refresh rate as 75 Hz while also claiming height and swivel adjustment. Lenovo publishes a VA panel, 75 Hz, and a tilt-only stand with no height adjustment and no swivel. The panel type and the stand are both corrected below.
99% sRGB, EPEAT Silver, and a Quick-Release Mount
Lenovo publishes 99% sRGB coverage, ENERGY STAR 8.0 certification, EPEAT Silver registration, TCO Certified 9.0 with TCO edge 2.0, a Volatile Organic Compound certification, Eyesafe certification and two TÜV Rheinland certifications. The datasheet also notes a quick-release VESA mount, which makes arm installation genuinely quick.
Know the Stand Before You Order
Tilt only, -5° to +22°. No height adjustment, no swivel, no pivot. Lenovo publishes a single set of dimensions rather than a range, which is the giveaway. There is a VESA 100 mm pattern with quick release, so an arm solves this inexpensively if the desk needs it.

Compatibility & Fit
VA against IPS, on a value monitor. Most of this ordering table is IPS at 1000:1 to 1500:1. This monitor and the C24-40 are VA at 3000:1. Blacks are deeper and the picture has more visual punch, particularly on dark backgrounds and in rooms you do not control the lighting of. IPS is generally the more consistent performer at extreme angles. Lenovo publishes 178° viewing angles for both, so for a single user at a desk the VA contrast is usually the better deal.
The stand, corrected. Our earlier page said this monitor adjusted for height and swivel. It does not: Lenovo publishes tilt only, -5° to +22°, on a fixed-height stand, and gives a single set of dimensions rather than a lowest and highest. The good news is the VESA 100 mm mount includes a quick release, so putting it on an arm takes seconds. We can quote arms alongside.
24.5 inches is a slightly odd and slightly useful size. A little wider than the 23.8-inch models everyone else buys, at the same 1920 x 1080. Pixel density drops to 90 dpi, so text is marginally larger — which some people prefer and which suits a monitor viewed from a little further back, such as a counter or a shared position.
Two inputs and an audio-out. HDMI 1.4 and VGA, with a 3.5 mm audio-out for headphones or powered speakers. No DisplayPort, no USB, no built-in speakers.
Where the E and S series sit in Lenovo's own words. Lenovo positions the ThinkVision E series as "Comfortable Viewing for Everyday Users" and the S series as "Basic Displays for Simple Experiences", against "Enhanced Productivity" for the T series and "Best-in-Class Performance" for the P series. Lenovo publishes no expansion of what the letters stand for, so neither do we. In practice the difference that matters on a desk is the stand: most E and S models are tilt-only, while every T and P model offers 155 mm of height adjustment, swivel and pivot.

- Lenovo ThinkVision S25e-30 product datasheet (PDF)
PSREF is Lenovo's own Product Specifications Reference and is the source for every figure on this page unless the table says otherwise. PSREF publishes its spec sheets per model rather than per part number, so this SKU does not appear inside the PDF itself; a per-part-number detail page also exists at psref.lenovo.com and will render in a normal browser if you need this exact configuration confirmed before ordering. Ask us and we will pull it for you.
Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision S25e-30
Is the panel IPS or VA?
VA. Our earlier version of this page said IPS, which was wrong. The VA panel is what gives it 3000:1 contrast — about three times the IPS models beside it in the ordering table.
Does the stand adjust for height or swivel?
No to both. Lenovo publishes tilt only, -5° to +22°, on a fixed-height stand — and gives a single set of dimensions rather than a lowest and highest position, which confirms it. Our earlier page claimed height and swivel adjustment; that was wrong. The VESA 100 mm mount has a quick release, so an arm is an easy fix.
Does it have USB ports?
No. Lenovo publishes no USB ports of any kind on this model. If you need a monitor that also acts as a USB hub, or that docks a laptop over USB-C, the ThinkVision T-series and P-series are the ranges to look at — tell us what the desk needs and we will point you at the right one.
Does it have speakers?
No. Lenovo publishes no speakers for this model. There is a 3.5 mm audio-out for headphones or powered speakers.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Lenovo PSREF states a 3-year limited warranty as the base warranty for this model, and every unit SourceIT sells comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.
