Mounting and placement
The EB-U50 is a standard-throw table or ceiling projector with a 1.38 – 1.68 throw ratio, so a 100” image needs roughly 3 to 3.7 metres of throw distance. Manual zoom and manual focus are set at the unit. For rooms where the projector cannot sit square to the screen, ±30° vertical and ±30° horizontal keystone correction plus Quick Corner let you square the image from the menu; vertical keystone can also correct automatically. At 3.1kg it is light enough for a standard ceiling bracket or for trolley-mounted use that moves between rooms.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs cover a room PC and a guest laptop or video bar simultaneously. Two D-Sub 15-pin analog inputs keep older notebooks, document cameras and legacy room systems working, and a D-Sub 15-pin monitor output lets you loop the signal to a confidence display at the lectern. Two stereo mini jack audio inputs and one output feed the room's sound system. USB Type B supports USB Display, so a laptop can send image and control over a single USB cable, while USB Type A takes a USB memory stick or an Epson document camera.
Network and management
Built-in wireless LAN and an RJ45 wired port both put the projector on the network for remote monitoring, scheduling and firmware updates.
