Epson EB-L200F Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-L200F Full HD Standard-Throw 3LCD Laser Projector (V11H990052) - Local Warranty
4,500 Lumens of Laser Brightness for Boardrooms and Lecture Theatres
The EB-L200F is the brightest model in the EB-L200 family, publishing 4,500 lumens of both colour light output and white light output from Epson's three-chip 3LCD engine. Because colour and white brightness are equal, a corporate identity palette or a photographic slide holds its saturation rather than dimming against a white background. A 2,500,000:1 contrast ratio and a Full HD image built with pixel-shifting technology deliver the depth needed for video content as well as the clean edges needed for financial tables and CAD screenshots.
A Laser Light Source Rated at 20,000 Hours
There is no lamp to schedule, no lamp to stock and no lamp to change. The laser light source is rated at 20,000 hours, which for a meeting room running eight hours a day, five days a week is roughly ten years of service. Brightness and colour balance stay far more stable over that life than a UHE lamp manages, so a wall of projectors commissioned together still matches years later. Instant on and instant off remove the cool-down wait entirely, which matters when a room turns over every half hour.
Standard Throw From 40 to 500 Inches With 1.62x Optical Zoom
A true 1 to 1.62 optical zoom with a 1.33 to 2.16 throw ratio covers 40 to 500 inches, with a 60-inch image landing at 1.72 metres. That range is wide enough to retrofit into almost any existing ceiling position without moving the bracket, and large enough to serve a lecture theatre or a function room from the back wall. The F1.49 to F1.77 lens runs 18.2 to 29.2 mm with manual focus and a 10:0 offset, and auto vertical keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees squares the image quickly.
Wired, Wireless and Control-Ready Connectivity
Two HDMI inputs, two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs, composite video, RCA and twin stereo mini audio inputs, a monitor output and a stereo mini audio output cover both new and legacy sources. An RJ45 port and an RS-232C connection let the projector join a managed network and answer to a room control system, and wireless connectivity is included. USB Type A ports handle media and an Epson USB document camera. Epson Projector Management and Epson iProjection round out fleet monitoring and multi-PC sharing, and a 16 W speaker covers audio in a mid-sized room.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and orientation
At 299 x 325 x 90 mm excluding feet and 4.1 kg, the EB-L200F suits a standard universal projector ceiling bracket or a tabletop. The 1 to 1.62 optical zoom and 1.33 to 2.16 throw ratio give enough latitude to reuse most existing ceiling positions. Auto vertical keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees and a 10:0 lens offset handle placement above the top of the screen.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs take laptops, mini-PCs, media players and control system outputs. Two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs, a composite RCA video input, an RCA audio input and two stereo mini audio jacks keep legacy desktops, visualisers and installed cabling working. A monitor output and a stereo mini audio output feed a confidence monitor or a room sound system, and a USB Type A port supports an Epson USB document camera.
Network, control and content management
An RJ45 network port brings the projector onto a managed LAN for Epson Projector Management monitoring and control, and an RS-232C connection lets it answer to a Crestron, Extron or similar room controller. Wireless connectivity is included, and Epson iProjection supports multi-PC projection so several presenters can share to the same screen.
Where it sits in the range
Within the EB-L200 family the EB-L200F is the Full HD standard-throw model. The EB-L200W is the WXGA standard-throw equivalent; the EB-L200SW and EB-L200SX are the short-throw models in WXGA and XGA respectively. The newer short-throw generation is the EB-L210SF and EB-L210SW.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-L200F
The EB-L200 codes look almost identical — which one am I actually buying?
Read the suffix. S means short throw, and the final letter is the resolution: F is Full HD 1920 x 1080, W is WXGA 1280 x 800 and X is XGA 1024 x 768. So EB-L200F is Full HD standard throw, EB-L200W is WXGA standard throw, EB-L200SW is WXGA short throw and EB-L200SX is XGA short throw. A standard-throw unit sits several metres back; a short-throw unit sits under a metre from the wall.
Is the EB-L200F a true Full HD projector?
Epson achieves Full HD resolution on screen using pixel-shifting technology on a 0.62-inch 3LCD panel, and publishes the resolution as FHD. In practice you get a 1920 x 1080 image; the mechanism is pixel shifting rather than a native 1080p panel. For most business and education content the on-screen result is what matters.
How does it differ from the EB-L200W?
Resolution and brightness. The EB-L200F is Full HD at 4,500 lumens; the EB-L200W is WXGA 1280 x 800 at 4,200 lumens. Both are standard throw with the same 4.1 kg chassis. Choose the F for video, 16:9 slide decks and detailed spreadsheets; the W is the value option where WXGA is sufficient.
Do I ever have to change a lamp?
No. This is a laser projector rated at 20,000 hours of light source life, so there is no lamp to buy, stock or replace. Running eight hours a day, five days a week, that is roughly ten years. Brightness also stays more consistent across that life than a UHE lamp manages, which keeps a multi-room install matched.
How far back does it need to sit?
The throw ratio is 1.33 at the wide end and 2.16 at the tele end, and Epson quotes a 60-inch image at 1.72 metres. For a 120-inch 16:9 screen (about 2.66 m wide) expect roughly 3.5 to 5.7 metres depending on zoom. It covers 40 to 500 inches in total. If your room cannot give you that distance, use a short-throw model such as the EB-L210SF instead.
Can it be controlled from our AV system?
Yes. It has an RS-232C control input and an RJ45 network port, so it works with standard room control systems and with Epson Projector Management for network monitoring across a fleet. Direct power on and off plus Instant Off mean it can also be switched from a wall plate with no cool-down delay.
Does it have wireless?
Wireless connectivity is included with this model, and Epson iProjection supports multi-PC projection so more than one presenter can share to the screen. Epson notes that with the optional ELPAP11 unit, Miracast and Wi-Fi functions can be used at the same time.
Is the 16 W speaker enough, or do we need room audio?
A 16 W speaker carries voice and video clips across a typical meeting room or classroom. For a lecture theatre, a function room or anything where music fidelity matters, use the stereo mini audio output to feed a house sound system.
What warranty and paperwork do I get from SourceIT?
Every unit is supplied by SourceIT with a three-year Singapore local warranty and a full GST invoice, so the projector can go straight onto your company's asset register and be serviced locally without shipping it overseas.
