Epson EB-L210SW Wireless WXGA Short Throw Laser Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-L210SW Wireless WXGA Short-Throw 3LCD Laser Projector (V11HA76080) - Local Warranty
A 120-Inch WXGA Image From Under a Metre of Wall
The EB-L210SW projects a native WXGA 1280 x 800 picture at a 0.48 to 0.65 throw ratio — an 87-inch image from 91 centimetres, with a working range of 53 to 120 inches. That makes it a straightforward fit for a narrow classroom, a meeting pod, a training room or a retail space where a standard-throw projector would need three or four metres of clear floor. Mounted on a wall arm above the screen it also keeps the presenter out of the light path completely.
Over 5,000,000:1 Contrast With 4,000 Lumens of Colour Brightness
Epson publishes 4,000 lumens of colour light output and 4,000 lumens of white light output, with an extended mode at 2,800 lumens, and quotes contrast at over 5,000,000:1. Because the three-panel 3LCD engine handles red, green and blue simultaneously rather than through a colour wheel, a coloured diagram stays as bright as a white slide and there is no rainbow artefact. Noise reduction, super-resolution and detail enhancement clean up softer sources before they reach the screen.
16:10 Widescreen That Matches a Laptop and a Whiteboard Wall
WXGA 1280 x 800 is the native shape of most business laptop displays, so a presenter who mirrors their screen fills the projected area without black bars. On a classroom whiteboard the widescreen frame also maps far more usefully onto the physical board than a 4:3 image does. Where your content is mainly video, detailed spreadsheets or 16:9 decks, the Full HD EB-L210SF is the same projector with a higher-resolution panel.
20,000-Hour Laser, Mic Input, Edge Blending and Full Network Control
The laser diode is rated at 20,000 hours in normal and quiet modes and 30,000 hours in extended mode, with a 20,000-hour electrostatic filter, so there is nothing routine to replace. Two HDMI 2.3 inputs, twin D-Sub 15-pin inputs, composite video, RCA and stereo mini audio, a monitor output, an audio output and a dedicated microphone input cover a lecture theatre as readily as a meeting room. Wired LAN at 100 Mbps and RS-232C support central management, built-in wireless handles screen mirroring, and edge blending lets several units build one wide image.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and orientation
As a short-throw model the EB-L210SW mounts on a wall arm above the screen rather than hanging mid-ceiling, which shortens the cable run and keeps the presenter out of the beam. At 337 x 325 x 90 mm excluding feet and approximately 4.6 kg it suits a standard short-throw arm. Keystone correction is plus or minus 15 degrees vertically and horizontally with manual Quick Corner — a narrower range than a standard-throw unit, so mount it accurately.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3 take laptops, mini-PCs, media players and control system outputs. Two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs, composite video, an RCA audio input and two stereo mini jacks keep legacy sources in service, and a dedicated microphone input feeds the 16 W speaker directly. A monitor output and audio output drive a confidence display or house sound. The USB Type A port supports PC-free playback and supplies 5 V at 2 A.
Network, wireless and content management
Wired LAN at 100 Mbps and RS-232C bring the unit onto a managed network and let a room control system drive it. Wireless LAN is built in, running IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac across 2.4 and 5 GHz in infrastructure and access point (Wi-Fi Direct) modes, with optional ELPAP11 support. Screen mirroring and the Epson Creative Projection app handle wireless sharing, and edge blending allows several units to form one continuous image.
Where it sits in the range
The EB-L210SW is the WXGA short-throw model. The EB-L210SF is the identical chassis in Full HD. For a standard-throw Full HD laser unit in the same generation, see the EB-L260F. The preceding short-throw generation is the EB-L200SW in WXGA and the EB-L200SX in XGA.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-L210SW
EB-L210SF or EB-L210SW — what is the actual difference?
The last letter is the resolution. EB-L210SF is F for Full HD 1920 x 1080; EB-L210SW is W for WXGA 1280 x 800. Both are 4,000-lumen short-throw laser projectors in the identical 337 x 325 x 90 mm, 4.6 kg chassis with the same ports, the same 5,000,000:1 contrast and the same 20,000-hour laser. The SF throws 55 to 125 inches at a 0.45 to 0.61 throw ratio; the SW throws 53 to 120 inches at 0.48 to 0.65. Buy the SF for video and detailed widescreen content, the SW where WXGA is sufficient.
How close to the screen does it sit?
An 87-inch image needs 91 centimetres of throw distance, and the full range is 53 to 120 inches from 54 to 126 centimetres at a 0.48 to 0.65 throw ratio. That is short throw rather than ultra-short throw, so allow roughly a metre of clearance in front of the screen.
Is WXGA enough, or should I pay for the Full HD EB-L210SF?
WXGA 1280 x 800 is the native resolution of most business laptop panels, so mirrored slide decks, web pages and general presentation content fill the screen cleanly. Step up to the EB-L210SF if you show video regularly, work with dense spreadsheets or CAD, or want native 1920 x 1080 for 16:9 media. Everything else about the two projectors is the same.
What is the difference from the older EB-L200SW?
The EB-L210SW is the newer generation. It is brighter at 4,000 lumens against 3,800, contrast rises from 2,500,000:1 to over 5,000,000:1, laser life extends to 30,000 hours in extended mode, and it adds a microphone input, edge blending, built-in wireless with screen mirroring and HDCP 2.3 on the HDMI inputs. Both are WXGA short-throw laser projectors.
How long does the laser last?
20,000 hours in normal and quiet modes, and 30,000 hours in extended mode, with the electrostatic air filter rated at 20,000 hours. There is no lamp, so across a normal deployment life there is nothing routine to replace or stock.
Can I plug a microphone in?
Yes. A dedicated stereo mini microphone input feeds the 16 W monaural speaker, so a classroom or training room can run basic voice reinforcement without a separate PA system. For a larger room, use the stereo mini audio output to feed a house sound system.
Can several units be blended into one wide image?
Yes. Edge blending is supported, so two or more units can be aligned to produce a single continuous image across a long wall, with a multi-projection colour mode to match them to each other. This is commonly used in briefing rooms, lecture theatres and retail displays.
Will it join our corporate network?
Yes. There is a 100 Mbps wired LAN port and built-in wireless LAN running 802.11a/b/g/n/ac across 2.4 and 5 GHz, in infrastructure or access point (Wi-Fi Direct) mode, plus RS-232C for room control systems. Standby draw is 2.0 W with the network on and 0.5 W with it off.
What warranty and paperwork do I get from SourceIT?
Every unit is supplied by SourceIT with a three-year Singapore local warranty and a full GST invoice, so the projector can go straight onto your company's asset register and be serviced locally without shipping it overseas.
