Multi-Cell DECT Base Station for Wall-to-Wall Cordless Coverage
The Yealink W80B is the radio cell of the W80 multi-cell DECT system. Deployed under a W80DM DECT Manager, multiple W80B bases blend into one cordless network — up to 30 bases, 100 handsets and 100 parallel calls — covering warehouses, hospitals, hotels and multi-floor offices across Singapore.
Up to 8 Calls Per Base, 50 m Indoor Range
Each W80B handles up to 8 wideband calls (4 active handsets) or 8 narrowband calls, with 20–50 m indoor and up to 300 m outdoor DECT range per base in ideal conditions. Add bases wherever coverage or call density is needed — the system synchronises over the air.
System-Wide Roaming with In-Group Handover
Handsets roam across the entire W80 system, and mid-call handover is supported between bases within the same synchronised group, so staff move freely while they talk. DECT encryption, TLS and SRTP keep conversations secure.
One-Cable PoE Installation
The compact, wall-mountable W80B powers over a single PoE (IEEE 802.3af) network cable — clean installs on walls or ceilings with no power point required, all managed centrally from the W80DM web portal.

On current firmware the W80B operates as a base station under the W80DM DECT Manager, which every W80 multi-cell deployment requires. For a single-base office, a W70B base station or W73P system is the right fit.

Up to 8 wideband calls (4 active handsets) or 8 narrowband calls per base. The full system scales to 100 parallel calls across up to 30 bases.
What coverage does each base provide?
Per the official datasheet, 20–50 m indoors (ideal distance 50 m) and up to 300 m outdoors in ideal conditions. Coverage depends on building materials — SourceIT can advise on base placement for Singapore sites.
