The Poly Studio X52 is HP's current medium-room all-in-one bar. A 20 MP sensor captures 2160p 4K Ultra HD across a 110° diagonal / 95° horizontal field of view, with a camera range of 6.1 m — a deliberately tighter, higher-density framing than the wide huddle-room bars, so faces at the far end of a 20 ft room still resolve cleanly when DirectorAI zooms in on them. HP rates it for rooms of roughly 20 ft x 15 ft and it drives two displays, or three in Zoom with a supported adapter.
Wi-Fi 6 and HDMI 2.0 Throughout
The X52 carries 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 and HDMI 2.0 on both the input and the two outputs, which matters for two practical reasons: a wireless deployment on a modern corporate WLAN behaves far better under contention, and the HDMI 2.0 path removes the ceiling that HDMI 1.4 imposes on the older Studio X50. Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB-A ports and a USB-C port round out the connectivity, and a line-in accepts an optional expansion microphone for longer tables.
Stereo Audio with NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence
Stereo speakers rated 20 W RMS and 40 W maximum handle a medium room comfortably. Two MEMS microphones and two second-order microphones pick up to 6.09 m, with full-duplex acoustic echo cancellation, Poly NoiseBlockAI to strip out keyboard and air-con noise, and Poly Acoustic Fence to keep the corridor outside the room out of the call.
Teams and Zoom On-Device — No Room PC to Buy or Patch
HP certifies the Studio X52 for Microsoft Teams and for Zoom and lists it as compatible with Google Meet. Those room applications run on the bar itself, so there is no mini-PC to procure, licence, image or patch. Poly Video App mode reaches other cloud providers, H.323 and SIP calling up to 6 Mbps is supported, and USB Device Mode lets a visitor host from their own laptop. Security is enterprise-grade: AES 128/256-bit media encryption, H.235.6, port lockout and Active Directory support.

HP states the Studio X52 is Certified for Microsoft Teams and Certified for Zoom, and lists it as compatible with Google Meet.
The bar runs native third-party room applications on the device — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Dialpad, GoToRoom, RingCentral and StarLeaf — and Poly Video App mode reaches all cloud service providers.
Use it with a laptop or room PC

Which room size does the Poly Studio X52 suit?
HP rates the Studio X52 for medium rooms of roughly 20 ft x 15 ft (6.1 m x 4.6 m), with a camera range of 6.1 m and microphone pickup to 6.09 m. For a huddle room the Studio X32 is the right size; for a boardroom up to 8.5 m long, the Studio X72.
Why is the X52's field of view narrower than the X32's?
Because the rooms are different shapes. The X32 covers a small room from close range and needs 120° horizontally to do it; the X52 looks down a longer room, so a 95° horizontal field of view spreads the same 20 MP sensor over a smaller angle and gives more pixels on each face at the far end. Wider is not automatically better — match the bar to the room.
Do I need a room PC, a codec or a separate licence?
No room PC and no separate gateway — Microsoft Teams and Zoom run on the bar itself. You will still need the platform licence your organisation uses (a Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms licence, or your own H.323/SIP infrastructure). We can quote it alongside the hardware.
How does the Studio X52 differ from the older Studio X50?
On published specifications the X52 has a 20 MP sensor, Wi-Fi 6, HDMI 2.0 on the input and both outputs, and support for three displays in Zoom with an adapter. The Studio X50 has a wider 110° horizontal field of view and a longer 7.62 m microphone pickup, so in a wide, shallow room it can still frame better. The X52 also pairs with the newer TC10 controller rather than the TC8.
Does the Studio X52 support PoE?
No — HP publishes no PoE support for the X52 bar, which ships with an external auto-sensing power adapter. The TC10 touch controller does run on PoE (IEEE 802.3at Class 0). If you need a PoE-powered bar, the Studio X32 accepts PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Class 6.
What mounting options are available?
A display mounting clamp is in the box. We also stock the wall mount, VESA mount, table stand and display clamp separately, plus an adapter bracket that lets an X52 reuse an existing Studio X50 wall or VESA mount.
Does the Poly Studio X52 come with a Singapore warranty and GST invoice?
