Poly Studio V12 4K USB Video Bar for Small Meeting Rooms
The Poly Studio V12 is HP’s compact USB video bar for small conference spaces. A single 20 MP lens captures 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps across a 132° diagonal field of view, and Poly DirectorAI keeps the room framed automatically. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and certified for Zoom, connects over USB-C to any PC or Mac, and clamps straight onto the room display — the clamp is in the box.
20 MP 4K Camera with DirectorAI Speaker, People and Group Framing
Small rooms are unforgiving: people sit close, off-centre and at the edge of frame. The V12’s 132° DFOV / 120° HFOV lens takes in the whole table, and DirectorAI applies speaker framing, people framing and group framing to crop intelligently rather than showing an empty room. Zoom is 5x digital with fixed focus, and a removable privacy cap covers the lens when the room is idle.
Four-Microphone Beamforming Array with NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence
Four digital MEMS microphones form a beamforming array with pickup to 4.57 m (15 ft), backed by Poly NoiseBlockAI for background noise and Poly Acoustic Fence to keep corridor and neighbouring-desk chatter out of the call. Stereo speakers rated 2 x 5 W cover 100 Hz to 20 kHz — enough presence for a small room without the boom of an oversized driver.
Flexible Power and Cabling for Singapore Fit-Outs
The V12 takes power either from a PoE++ injector over its gigabit RJ-45 or from a 65 W USB-C adapter, so it can be installed where there is structured cabling but no convenient power outlet. Two USB-C and two USB-A ports at 5 Gbps handle the host connection and peripherals, with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 on board. HP builds the chassis from at least 65% post-consumer recycled plastic and ships it in paper-based packaging.

Is the Poly Studio V12 really a 4K camera?
Yes. HP specifies a single 20 MP lens capturing 2160p 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps, with a 132° diagonal and 120° horizontal field of view. Zoom is 5x digital — there is no optical zoom.
Does the Studio V12 come with a power supply?
No. A9DD8AA is supplied without a power supply. Power it from a PoE++ injector (B5NH6AA) over its gigabit RJ-45 port, or from a 65 W USB-C power adapter (B92SVAA). SourceIT can quote either option with the bar.
How does the V12 compare with the Studio V52, V72 and R30?
