Poly G7500 UHD 4K Codec Base Unit — 4K Modular Video Conferencing
The Poly G7500 is HP's modular 4K room codec: a 349 x 140 mm, 952.5 g appliance that carries the whole room. HP specifies people video at 4K 30 fps from 2048 Kbps and 1080p 60 fps from 1740 Kbps, using H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile and H.265, with dual display output and content input up to UHD 3840 x 2160. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and certified for Zoom, and it is the Poly platform to specify when a room needs a camera and microphone design chosen to fit the space rather than a fixed all-in-one bar. This listing is the codec base unit on its own — camera, microphones and touch controller are chosen and ordered separately.
Build the Room Around the Codec, Not the Other Way Round
Because the G7500 is modular, the same codec supports a wide-angle AI camera such as the Studio E70 for a wide, shallow room, or an optical-zoom PTZ camera such as the EagleEye IV-12x for a long boardroom or auditorium. Microphone coverage scales the same way, from a single table array up to multiple ceiling arrays on the PoE+/PSE LLN ports.
Every Port a Large Room Design Needs
The G7500 carries 1 HDMI-in 1.4 for wired laptop content, 2 HDMI-out 1.4 for dual displays plus a separate HDMI-out 1.4 for audio, an HDCI camera port, 1 USB Type-C and 3 USB Type-A at 5Gbps signalling, audio-in, audio-out and RS-232 for control-system integration. Four Ethernet ports are provided — one 10/100/1G uplink plus three 10/100/1G LLN ports with PoE+/PSE — so Poly IP table and ceiling microphone arrays run over ordinary structured cabling instead of proprietary looms.
NoiseBlockAI, Acoustic Fence and Third-Party DSP
Poly NoiseBlockAI suppresses non-speech noise on the transmit side and Poly Acoustic Fence keeps sound from outside the intended meeting area out of the call — both useful in open-plan Singapore offices and glass-walled meeting rooms. Poly IP microphones give up to 20 ft (6.09 m) of pickup, and where a room already has a professional audio design, HP documents support for audio-conferencing processors such as QSC, Shure and Biamp over USB.
Sized and Supported for Singapore Deployments
The codec draws power from an external auto-sensing supply rated at 65 BTU/h, so it fits comfortably into a credenza or rack alongside existing AV. Fleet provisioning, firmware and room health run through Poly Lens. SourceIT supplies the G7500 with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice, and can quote the matching cameras, IP microphone arrays, touch controllers and mounts as one deployment.

Compatibility & Software Support
Operating systems and room platforms
The Poly G7500 is an appliance-based room system running Poly Video OS — no separate room PC or compute appliance is required for its native modes. HP states that the G7500 is certified for Microsoft Teams and certified for Zoom, so a Teams Rooms on Android or Zoom Rooms Appliance experience runs natively on the codec itself once the corresponding licence is assigned.
Standards-based calling and interoperability
The codec supports standards-based video calling using H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile and H.265, which allows it to interoperate with SIP and H.323 infrastructure and with third-party bridges. HP does not publish a Google Meet certification for the G7500, so SourceIT does not claim one; if Google Meet hardware certification is a requirement, please ask us to confirm the current certified model list before you order.
BYOD and USB device mode
The G7500 carries 1 USB Type-C and 3 USB Type-A ports at 5Gbps signalling, plus HDMI-in 1.4 for wired content sharing from a laptop. HP also documents support for third-party audio-conferencing processors such as QSC, Shure and Biamp over USB, which is what makes the G7500 the natural choice when a room needs to integrate into an existing DSP-based audio design.
Microphones and cameras over standard cabling
Three of the four Ethernet ports are LLN ports with PoE+/PSE, so Poly IP table and ceiling microphone arrays connect over ordinary structured cabling rather than proprietary runs — a practical advantage in Singapore fit-outs where cable paths are already installed.
Management
The G7500 is managed through Poly Lens, HP's cloud management and insights service, for provisioning, firmware updates, device health and room analytics across a fleet.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly G7500
Does the base unit include a camera or microphone?
No. HP lists the box contents for the G7500 base unit as the codec, AC power adapter, Ethernet cable and Bluetooth remote control. A camera (Studio E70 or EagleEye IV-12x) and at least one Poly IP microphone array are ordered separately. If you would rather buy it pre-matched, see the kits listed above.
Do I need a separate room PC or compute appliance?
No. The G7500 is an appliance-based system running Poly Video OS, and HP lists it as certified for Microsoft Teams and certified for Zoom, so the room platform runs on the codec itself. You do still need the corresponding Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms licence and room resource account.
How many displays can it drive?
Two. The codec provides 2 HDMI-out 1.4 ports for video plus a further HDMI-out 1.4 for audio, and HP lists dual display support. Content input is a single HDMI-in 1.4 carrying video and audio.
Which touch controller should I pair with it?
Both the 8-inch Poly TC8 (PoE 802.3af Class 3) and the 10.1-inch Poly TC10 (PoE 802.3at Class 0) are supported. The TC10 has the larger, brighter 300-nit display and ships with both a table stand and a wall mount kit; the TC8 is the more compact and lower-cost option.
How do the microphones connect?
Over standard Ethernet. Three of the codec's four network ports are LLN ports with PoE+/PSE, which power and carry Poly IP table and ceiling microphone arrays over ordinary structured cabling — no proprietary microphone loom is needed.
Can the G7500 work with our existing Shure or Biamp DSP?
Yes. HP documents support for audio-conferencing processors such as QSC, Shure and Biamp over USB, which is one of the main reasons integrators specify the G7500 over an all-in-one video bar in rooms that already have a professional audio design.
Is the G7500 certified for Google Meet?
HP publishes Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification for the G7500. We do not claim a Google Meet certification for this model. If Google Meet hardware certification is a requirement for your room, please ask us to confirm the currently certified Poly models before ordering.
Does this come with local Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Poly G7500 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
