The Poly EagleEye IV-12x is a professional pan-tilt-zoom conference camera built for large meeting rooms and integrated AV designs. Host systems
The EagleEye IV-12x is an HDCI camera intended for Poly modular room systems. In the current SourceIT catalogue it is the camera used with the Poly G7500 codec, which provides the HDCI camera port. It is not a USB webcam and will not connect directly to a laptop or to a USB-only video bar.
Room platforms
Because the camera is driven by the host codec, platform support follows the G7500: HP lists the G7500 as certified for Microsoft Teams and certified for Zoom. No separate driver or software is required for the camera itself.

Is the 12x zoom optical or digital?
It is 12x optical zoom. HP's specification for this camera states 12x zoom on a single auto-focus lens; the magnification happens in the optics, so image detail is retained at full zoom rather than being interpolated as with digital zoom.
What resolution does the EagleEye IV-12x capture?
1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 60 fps. This is a Full HD camera, not a 4K camera — if you need 4K capture with AI framing, look at the Poly Studio E70 instead, which uses dual 20-megapixel 4K sensors.
How do I choose between the EagleEye IV-12x and the Studio E70?
