The SourceIT listing carries legacy part number 2200-49800-102 alongside HP SKU 84C19AA. HP publishes the Edge B10 with several region-specific legacy Polycom part numbers, so please quote 84C19AA when ordering.

Specifications above are taken from HP's published Edge B Series product page and the official Poly Edge B Series datasheet. HP does not publish a display resolution, a recycled-plastic content figure or unpackaged product dimensions for this model, so those have been omitted rather than estimated.

Standards-based calling. The Edge B10 is an IETF SIP (RFC 3261) endpoint and registers against hosted and on-premise Open SIP platforms. HP states support for as many as six SIP service accounts. Marketing figures of 8 lines refer to paginated line-key assignments, not to registrations - the two are different numbers and it is worth sizing your deployment on the registration count.

Software platform. The Edge B Series runs Poly Voice Software Lite (PVOS Lite), a lighter build than the Poly Voice Software used on the Edge E Series.

Provisioning. Central provisioning over TFTP, HTTP and HTTPS, plus Zero-Touch Provisioning, the phone's web interface and its local interface.

Cloud and fleet management. Poly Lens and PDMS-SP are both supported for inventory, configuration and firmware management across a deployed fleet.

Headsets. An RJ-9 port and a 3.5 mm port are provided. Electronic hook switch control is supported through the optional Poly APD-80 adapter. HP lists no USB port on the Edge B Series, so USB headsets are not supported on these models.

Platform certifications. HP does not publish per-model platform certifications for the Edge B Series, and the badge set shown on HP's regional Edge B pages is not consistent between locales. SourceIT therefore does not claim Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet certification for this model. Please confirm interoperability with your service provider before deploying at scale, and contact us if you need this checked against your platform.

Poly Edge B Series ordering information

All three models share the same 2.8 inch monochrome display, the same audio specification and the same Poly Voice Software Lite platform. They differ in line keys, Ethernet speed and how they are powered.

Stepping up: the Poly Edge E Series at SourceIT

Wall-mount hardware is included with every Edge B Series phone, so no separate bracket is required. The Edge E wall-mount brackets sold separately on this site are for the Edge E Series and are not Edge B accessories.

What is the difference between the Poly Edge B10, B20 and B30?
All three share the same 2.8 inch monochrome display, the same Poly HD Voice audio specification and the same Poly Voice Software Lite platform. The differences are power and capacity: the Edge B10 has no PoE and ships with a power supply; the Edge B20 adds IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 2 with no power supply in the box; and the Edge B30 adds PoE plus 4 line keys, 16 line-key assignments and a gigabit two-port switch.

Do I need a power supply with the Poly Edge B10?
No - HP includes an external 5 VDC, 3 A (15 W) power supply in the box with the Edge B10, because this model does not support Power over Ethernet.

How many lines does the Poly Edge B10 actually support?
HP lists 2 line keys with up to 8 paginated line-key assignments. Registrations are a separate figure: HP's Administrator Guide states the phone can be configured with as many as six SIP or service provider accounts. Size your deployment on the six-account figure, and treat the 8 figure as the number of keys, speed dials and features a user can reach across pages.

Can I use a USB or wireless headset with the Edge B Series?
HP lists no USB port on the Edge B Series, so USB headsets are not supported. A corded headset connects on the RJ-9 or 3.5 mm port, and a wireless headset with a base can be controlled through the optional Poly APD-80 electronic hook switch adapter. If USB headset support or Bluetooth matters to you, look at the Edge E Series instead.

Should I choose the Edge B Series or the Edge E Series?
The Edge B Series is the value line: monochrome display, no USB, no Wi-Fi, Poly Voice Software Lite. The Edge E Series - for example Edge E220, Edge E350 or Edge E550 - is the premium line with colour displays and richer connectivity. Choose Edge B for high-volume, cost-sensitive rollouts such as reception, hotel, retail, warehouse and common-area desks, and Edge E for knowledge workers and executives.

Can the Poly Edge B10 be wall mounted, and does it support an expansion module?
Yes to wall mounting - HP includes wall-mount hardware and a two-position desk stand in the box, so no extra bracket is needed. No to expansion modules: HP lists the Edge B Series as not supporting an expansion module. If you need side-car keys for a receptionist position, choose an Edge E model that supports one.

Does the Poly Edge B10 come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Poly Edge B10 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
