48 PoE+ Ports with 10G Uplinks
The M4300-52G-PoE+ combines 48 x 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports, each IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (up to 30W per port), with 2 x 10GBASE-T and 2 x SFP+ ports that are all independent. The 550W PSU delivers a 480W PoE budget for access points, cameras, AV endpoints and phones, on a 176 Gbps non-blocking switching fabric.
Dual Modular Hot-Swap Power Supplies
This full-width 1U switch has two modular PSU bays and ships with one APS550W installed (the second bay has a blank cover). Adding a second APS550W enables 1+1 redundant power (480W PoE budget) or EPS shared mode for a 720W PoE budget.
Stacking with Non-Stop Forwarding
Up to eight M4300 switches can be aggregated into a single virtual chassis, and 10G models stack seamlessly with 1G models. There are no dedicated stacking ports: any 10G port (copper or fibre, RJ45, SFP+ or DAC) can be used. Non-Stop Forwarding (NSF) gives hitless failover from the management unit to the redundant management unit, and the stack is seen by the rest of the network as a single bridge or router.
Zero-Touch Pro AV Multicast
NETGEAR IGMP Plus provides automatic Layer 2 multicast out of the box: IGMP Snooping, IGMP Fast Leave and IGMP Querier are already enabled, giving zero-touch AV-over-IP with pre-configured L2 multicast (SDVoE-ready).
Layer 3 Routing with No Licence
The entire M4300 feature set, including L2 switching with IGMP Plus and L3 routing (static, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM-SSM and policy-based routing) plus PTPv2, is available without a licence. Manage it through the industry-standard CLI, the NETGEAR web GUI or SNMP, with sFlow and RSPAN for visibility.

Compatibility & Software Support
Power supplies
Compatible PSUs for the M4300-52G-PoE+ are the NETGEAR APS550W and APS1000W. For redundancy, add a second APS550W. The APS1000W is also supported on this model for a larger PoE budget.
Transceivers & cabling
The 2 SFP+ ports accept 1G and 10G SFP/SFP+ optics and DAC cables; the 2 10GBASE-T ports run at 100M, 1G or 10G over copper.
Stacking
Stacks with other M4300 models (up to 8 switches), including mixing 1G and 10G models. Any 10G port, copper or fibre, can be configured for stacking.
Software features
Full Layer 2 and Layer 3 feature set with no licence: static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM-SSM, policy-based routing, PTPv2 and NETGEAR IGMP Plus automatic multicast. Managed via industry-standard CLI, web GUI and SNMP, with sFlow and RSPAN.

What is the difference between GSM4352PA and GSM4352PB?
Both are the same 48-port M4300-52G-PoE+ switch. The PA ships with an APS550W PSU (480W PoE budget, 720W with two PSUs in EPS mode); the PB ships with an APS1000W PSU (591W at 110VAC / 860W at 220VAC, and up to 1,010W / 1,440W with two PSUs in EPS mode).
Do I need a licence for Layer 3 routing?
No. Static, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM-SSM and policy-based routing are all included without a licence.
Can it stack with 10G M4300 switches?
Yes. Up to 8 M4300 switches, 1G and 10G models mixed, can form one stack using any 10G port.
Is it ready for AV-over-IP?
Yes. IGMP Plus with IGMP Snooping, Fast Leave and Querier is enabled out of the box for zero-touch L2 multicast (SDVoE-ready).
Does it come with redundant power?
