Power for M4300 PoE+ PB Models
The APS1000W is the 1000W modular power supply used in the NETGEAR M4300-28G-PoE+ (GSM4328PB) and M4300-52G-PoE+ (GSM4352PB). Add one as a second power supply for redundancy or keep one as a spare.
Also for M6100 and RPS4000v2
NETGEAR also uses the APS1000W as an additional power module for M6100 chassis switches and the RPS4000v2 external RPS/EPS unit.
Hot-Swap Replacement
In multi-PSU models the APS1000W supports hot-swap replacement: release the orange latch, slide the old unit out, insert the replacement and reconnect the power cord.

M4300-28G-PoE+ (GSM4328PB), M4300-52G-PoE+ (GSM4352PB), M6100 chassis switches (M6100-3S) and RPS4000v2 external RPS/EPS.
Mixing power supplies
NETGEAR states that the APS550W and APS1000W cannot be mixed and matched in an M4300 PoE+ switch. PA models (GSM4328PA / GSM4352PA) use the APS550W.
