Full 720W PoE+ from a Single PSU
The M4300-28G-PoE+ (PB) ships with the APS1000W. On 220V mains, as in Singapore, one PSU delivers a 720W PoE budget, enough for full 30W PoE+ on all 24 ports, and a second APS1000W keeps 720W in redundant RPS mode. Ideal for dense deployments of PoE+ cameras, access points and AV endpoints.
Four Independent 10G Uplinks
2 x 10GBASE-T and 2 x SFP+ ports, all independent, on a 128Gbps non-blocking fabric, for fibre or copper uplinks, fast server links, or stacking.
Stack up to 8 Switches with Nonstop Forwarding
Up to eight M4300 switches can be stacked into one managed virtual chassis, mixing 1G and 10G models. On the 1G models up to four 10G ports per switch can be used for stacking, in spine-and-leaf or dual-ring topologies. Nonstop Forwarding (NSF) with hitless management failover keeps traffic flowing if a stack member fails.
Layer 3 Routing Included - No Licence Required
The entire M4300 feature set is available without a licence: static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM and policy-based routing (PBR) for IPv4 and IPv6 where supported, plus 4K VLANs and a 16Mb packet buffer. Manage it through the web GUI, the industry-standard CLI, or NETGEAR's NMS300 single-pane-of-glass platform with mass configuration, and keep a dual firmware image and configuration file for safer updates.

Power Supplies
Two modular power supply bays. One APS1000W is installed; the second bay ships with a blank cover. Add a second NETGEAR APS1000W (APS1000W-100NES) for 1+1 redundant power with the full 720W PoE budget at 220V. The APS1000W is the PSU NETGEAR specifies for the PB versions of the M4300-28G-PoE+ and M4300-52G-PoE+.
Stacking with Other M4300 Models
Stacks with other M4300 switches (1G and 10G models can be mixed) up to 8 units, using the 10G ports. Stacked switches are managed as one unit with Nonstop Forwarding.
Management & Software
Web GUI, CLI and NETGEAR NMS300 management. Full L2/L3 feature set including IGMP Plus, static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR is included without a licence. Firmware and the user manual are available from NETGEAR support.
Uplink Transceivers
The two SFP+ ports accept 1G or 10G SFP/SFP+ modules (sold separately). Ask us to confirm a module before ordering.

What is the PoE budget?
On 220V: 720W with one APS1000W, and 720W with two PSUs in RPS mode. On 110V: 630W with one PSU, 720W with two PSUs in EPS mode.
What is the difference between PA and PB?
The PB ships with a 1000W PSU (720W PoE with one PSU at 220V); the PA ships with a 550W PSU (480W PoE). Ports and features are identical.
Do I need a licence for Layer 3 routing?
No. Static, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, PIM and policy-based routing are all included without a licence.
Can I stack it with other M4300 switches?
Yes, up to 8 M4300 switches, including 10G models, using up to four 10G ports per 1G switch, with Nonstop Forwarding.
