Entry-Level Wi-Fi 7 for Smaller Venues
The RUCKUS R370 is a dual-band, dual-concurrent 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) indoor access point with 2x2:2 radios on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and a combined data rate of up to 3.57 Gbps. RUCKUS positions it as a cost-effective way to bring enterprise-class Wi-Fi to economy hotels and motels, small and medium-size businesses, retail, restaurants, multi-tenant small offices, student housing and branch offices.
Unleashed: Controller-Less Wi-Fi
This is the Unleashed edition (part number prefix 9U1-). RUCKUS Unleashed access points carry an embedded controller, so there is no separate controller appliance or cloud subscription to buy. RUCKUS says you just plug it in and set it up from the RUCKUS Unleashed mobile app or any web browser, and add capacity by plugging in another Unleashed AP. Unleashed also manages RUCKUS ICX switches, and includes guest services, Dynamic PSK and SmartMesh wireless meshing.
2.5GbE Uplink, Compact Design
A single 2.5 GbE port keeps the uplink ahead of the radios, and the compact, low-profile 15 x 15 cm housing suits visually sensitive areas such as hotel rooms, classrooms and small offices. RUCKUS rates the R370 at up to 256 concurrent clients per AP.
RUCKUS Radio Management
ChannelFly dynamically finds the least congested Wi-Fi channels, SmartCast manages traffic prioritisation, and features such as polarization diversity with maximal ratio combining (PD-MRC), adaptive band balancing, client load balancing, airtime fairness and SmartRoam help keep clients on the best connection.
Supplied in Singapore with Local Warranty
RUCKUS sells the R370 with a limited lifetime warranty. SourceIT supplies it locally in Singapore with a GST invoice. The R370 does not include a power adapter or PoE injector. Email sales@sourceit.com.sg with your floor plan and user count for a layout and bill of materials.

Compatibility & Software Support
Management
This 9U1- part ships as an Unleashed AP, managed from the RUCKUS Unleashed mobile app or a web browser with no controller hardware. The RUCKUS data sheet lists RUCKUS One, SmartZone and RUCKUS Unleashed management for the R370, noting Unleashed support as arriving in an upcoming software release at the time of publication — ask us to confirm the current Unleashed firmware before you deploy. If you plan to run SmartZone or RUCKUS One, the non-Unleashed part 901-R370-WW02 is the usual order.
Mixing with Other RUCKUS Gear
Unleashed can manage RUCKUS ICX switches alongside the access points. RUCKUS AI provides network analytics and Cloudpath handles security and policy. SmartMesh wireless meshing gives self-healing mesh links.
Cabling
RUCKUS notes the R370 works with existing PoE switches and Cat 5e cabling.
