Poly Edge E300 Desktop Business IP Phone
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Poly Edge E300 Desktop Business IP Phone — 82M92AA - Local Warranty
Poly Edge E300 Open SIP Desk Phone with 8 Line Keys and a 3.5-Inch Colour Display
The Poly Edge E300 is where HP's Edge E range moves from a compact 2.8-inch phone to a full 3.5-inch colour IPS LCD with a surround light status indicator, and from four line keys to eight. HP specifies 8 line keys supporting up to 32 lines and contacts, with a pagination key for the remainder. For a knowledge-worker desk that carries a personal line, a team hunt group and a handful of busy-lamp contacts, it is the first model in the range with the key capacity to show all of it at once.
Accessibility Built In — Text-to-Speech, Colour Adjustment and Larger Fonts
HP documents text-to-speech, screen colour adjustment for colour blindness and larger font settings on the Edge E300. For organisations in Singapore working to accessibility requirements in a workplace fit-out or a government tender, these are published product features rather than something to be retrofitted, and they are worth naming explicitly in a tender response.
Poly Acoustic Fence, NoiseBlockAI and HD Voice
The E300 carries Poly HD Voice, Poly Acoustic Clarity full-duplex speakerphone operation with acoustic echo cancellation, Poly Acoustic Fence and Poly NoiseBlockAI. Acoustic Fence keeps the adjacent desk out of the call and NoiseBlockAI suppresses keyboard and air-conditioning noise — the two conditions that most often make an open-plan speakerphone call sound unprofessional.
No Bluetooth and No Wi-Fi on This Model — Specify Carefully
HP's wireless specification for the Edge E300 lists NFC and nothing else. Despite sitting above the Edge E220 in the range, the E300 does not carry that model's Bluetooth. Bluetooth returns on the Edge E320, and Wi-Fi appears first on the Edge E350. This is the single most common specification error on Edge E orders, and it is worth confirming before a large rollout.
Poly Edge E300 Datasheet — Technical Specifications
Every specification below is taken from HP and Poly's own published documentation for the Poly Edge E300 — the HP product-details and product-specifications pages, the HP ProductSheet and the Poly datasheet. Where HP does not publish a figure we have left it out rather than estimate it.

Compatibility & Software Support
Platforms and certifications
The Poly Edge E300 is an Open SIP desk phone. It registers against hosted and on-premise SIP platforms — 3CX, Asterisk and FreePBX derivatives, BroadWorks and Metaswitch-based hosted services, and the SIP trunking services offered by Singapore carriers.
HP publishes no Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet certification for any model in the Edge E range, and we do not claim one. Where a Microsoft Teams certified desk phone is the requirement, the Poly CCX Teams Edition models are the correct line — see the CCX 350 for Microsoft Teams.
Wireless and device connectivity
NFC only. HP publishes no Bluetooth and no Wi-Fi for the Edge E300.
Headsets
USB, RJ-9 or Electronic Hook Switch (EHS)
Provisioning and security
The Edge E series supports HTTPS provisioning with encrypted configuration files and signed software, 802.1X network authentication, SRTP media encryption and TLS signalling — the controls a Singapore IT team needs to put a phone estate on a corporate VLAN without exceptions.
Management software
HP states “Simple set up and support with Poly Lens” for the Edge E series. Poly Lens is HP's cloud device-management service: from one console your IT team can see device health, push firmware, apply configuration profiles and pull usage insight across every Poly device in the estate, phones and meeting rooms alike.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly Edge E300
Does the Poly Edge E300 have Bluetooth?
No. HP's wireless specification for the Edge E300 lists NFC only. This is genuinely counter-intuitive, because the lower-numbered Edge E220 does have Bluetooth 5.0. Within the Edge E300 Series, Bluetooth is on the Edge E320 and the Edge E350 — not on the E300. If Bluetooth headset pairing matters, specify the E320 or above.
Does the Edge E300 have Wi-Fi?
No. Wi-Fi appears on only three models in the whole Edge E range: the Edge E350, the Edge E450 and the Edge E550. Every other Edge E model, the E300 included, is a wired-Ethernet phone.
How many lines and contacts does the Edge E300 handle?
HP specifies 8 line keys supporting up to 32 lines and contacts, with a pagination key bringing additional entries into view. That is the same key and line capacity as the Edge E320 and Edge E350 — within the E300 Series the difference between models is wireless capability, not line capacity.
What is in the box, and is a wall mount included?
HP lists a setup sheet, console, CAT-5E network cable, desk stand, handset cord and handset. Unlike the E100 and E220, the Edge E300 does not include wall mount hardware. A wall mount bracket covering the E300, E320 and E350 is available separately, and we can add it to the quotation.
Do I need a power supply?
Not where PoE is available. HP specifies built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet at Class 3, 13 W maximum. No power supply ships in the box; where a desk has no PoE switch port an optional Poly power supply is ordered separately.
Can I add an expansion module for busy-lamp keys?
Not on the E300. HP documents expansion-module support on the Edge E400 Series and Edge E500 Series only. For a reception or operator position, specify the Edge E400 or Edge E450 (one module) or the Edge E500 or Edge E550 (two modules).
Is the Edge E300 certified for Microsoft Teams or Zoom?
HP publishes no Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet certification for any Edge E model, and we do not claim one. The Edge E range is Open SIP. For a Teams-certified desk phone, see the Poly CCX Teams Edition models such as the CCX 350 for Microsoft Teams.
Does the Poly Edge E300 come with a Singapore warranty and GST invoice?
Yes. Every Poly Edge E300 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
