Poly CCX 400 Open SIP Business Media Phone
The Poly CCX 400 Open SIP is a standards-based SIP desk phone with a 5-inch 720 x 1280 colour touchscreen, support for up to 24 SIP registrations, Poly HD Voice audio and single-cable 802.3af PoE. It registers against the hosted and on-premise platforms Singapore businesses actually run — cloud PBX, SIP trunking services and on-site IP-PBX — without locking you to one vendor's ecosystem.
Open SIP with 24 Line Registrations
HP specifies up to 24 lines (SIP registrations) on the Open SIP edition, which is enough headroom for reception consoles, shared department lines and multi-tenant setups on the same handset. Provisioning follows standard Poly UC methods, so the phone drops into an existing Poly estate.
Poly HD Voice with Acoustic Fence and NoiseBlock AI
Poly HD Voice and Poly Acoustic Clarity deliver full-duplex conversation with echo cancellation and noise suppression. Poly Acoustic Fence keeps surrounding voices out of handset and wired-headset calls, while Poly NoiseBlock AI cleans up the speakerphone. Codecs span G.711, G.722 (HD Voice), G.722.1, G.729AB, iLBC and OPUS, and the phone is hearing-aid compatible.
Gigabit Switch, USB-A, RJ-9 and EHS
A two-port gigabit Ethernet switch shares one desk drop between the phone and the PC. A USB 2.0 Type-A port, a dedicated RJ-9 headset port and an EHS adapter port cover wired peripherals, and built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af PoE at 13 W maximum removes the desk power brick.

Platform and certification
This is the Open SIP edition, built on standards-based SIP so it registers against a broad range of hosted and on-premise platforms — the usual Singapore mix of SIP trunking providers, cloud PBX services and on-site IP-PBX systems. Provisioning follows the standard Poly UC methods (DHCP option, provisioning server URL and configuration files), so it drops into an existing Poly UC estate without a separate management stack.
Headsets and peripherals
Wired headsets connect through the dedicated RJ-9 port, with an EHS adapter port for supported electronic hook switch headsets. One USB 2.0 Type-A port is available. HP's CCX 400 datasheet does not list integrated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi — the CCX 500 Open SIP adds Bluetooth 4.2 and the CCX 505 Open SIP adds Bluetooth plus integrated Wi-Fi.
Operating system and software
HP lists this model as running Android 9. Firmware and configuration updates are delivered through your provisioning server or through Poly Lens.

How many lines does the CCX 400 Open SIP support?
HP specifies up to 24 lines (SIP registrations) on the Open SIP edition.
What is the difference between this and the Microsoft Teams version?
The hardware is the same. This is the Open SIP edition for standards-based SIP platforms; the CCX 400 Microsoft Teams edition (848Z8AA) runs the native Teams interface and needs a Teams Phone licence.
Does the CCX 400 Open SIP have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi?
No. HP's datasheet does not list integrated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for the CCX 400. For Bluetooth choose the CCX 500 Open SIP; for Bluetooth plus Wi-Fi choose the CCX 505 Open SIP.
Will it work with my existing PBX or SIP trunk provider?
