PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Poly CCX 700 Desktop Business Media IP Phone Open SIP, with Handset — 2200-49750-025 / 82Z83AA - Local Warranty
Poly CCX 700 Open SIP Business Media Phone with a 4 MP Camera and 7-Inch Touchscreen
The Poly CCX 700 is the flagship of the CCX range and the only model in it with a camera built in. Poly specifies a 7-inch colour LCD at 1024 x 600 with a gesture-based multi-touch touchscreen, and a 4 megapixel camera with a privacy shutter shooting 1080p at 30 fps with autofocus from 8 cm to infinity. For a Singapore executive desk that needs point-to-point video without a laptop in the way, it is a complete voice-and-video endpoint in a single device.
4 MP Camera, 1080p30, Autofocus and a Physical Privacy Shutter
The camera is the reason to buy this model. Poly publishes 1080p at 30 fps, autofocus from 8 cm to infinity, automatic exposure and white balance, H.264 AVC encoding and a 4x electronic zoom of which 1.4x is lossless. Note that the zoom is electronic, not optical — Poly states this explicitly. The physical privacy shutter closes the lens mechanically, which is the answer most Singapore compliance teams want to hear about a camera on an executive desk.
Best-in-Class Poly Audio — 100 Hz to 20 kHz on Handset, Headset and Handsfree
Poly specifies a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz across the handset, the optional headset and the handsfree speakerphone, with Poly HD Voice and Poly Acoustic Clarity delivering full-duplex conversation and acoustic echo cancellation. The codec set runs G.711, G.729AB, G.722 HD Voice, G.722.1, iLBC and OPUS. A dedicated RJ-9 headset port sits alongside USB and Bluetooth headset support.
802.3at Class 4 PoE, Gigabit Passthrough, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2
The CCX 700 draws more power than a standard desk phone: Poly specifies built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet at Class 4 and 25 W maximum, so a switch port budgeted for a 13 W 802.3af phone will not run it. A two-port gigabit Ethernet switch shares the drop with the workstation, and integrated Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands plus Bluetooth 4.2, one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port complete the connectivity.
Supplied With a Handset — and a Handset-Less Build if You Do Not Need One
This listing is the CCX 700 build supplied with a handset, part number 2200-49750-025 / 82Z83AA, measuring 26.3 x 21.7 x 6.0 cm and weighing 2.05 kg. Poly also supplies a handset-less build, part number 2200-49740-025, at 19.0 x 21.7 x 6.0 cm and 1.32 kg, for positions where the user works entirely on a headset. The two are otherwise identical — same console, camera, display, audio and connectivity.

Compatibility & Software Support
Platforms and certifications
The Poly CCX 700 is an Open SIP business media phone. It registers against hosted and on-premise SIP platforms and the SIP trunking services offered by Singapore carriers.
It is not a Microsoft Teams phone. Microsoft's certified Teams hardware list covers the Poly CCX 350, CCX 400, CCX 500, CCX 505 and CCX 600 — the CCX 700 is not among them, and Poly's own CCX Teams Edition documentation covers the CCX 350 to CCX 600 only. Where a Teams-certified desk phone is the requirement, see the CCX 350 for Microsoft Teams. The CCX 700 does support Microsoft Exchange calendaring, which is a separate capability from Teams certification.
Wireless and device connectivity
Integrated Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands (802.11a/b/g/n) and integrated Bluetooth 4.2. One USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port, both 2.0 compliant, alongside the dedicated RJ-9 headset port.
Video calling
The built-in 4 megapixel camera encodes H.264 AVC at 1080p30, so point-to-point video calling runs on the phone itself with no laptop, webcam or room PC involved. The privacy shutter closes the lens mechanically when video is not in use.
Provisioning and management
The CCX 700 provisions like the rest of the Poly CCX Open SIP range and remains a software-supported model in Poly's CCX release stream alongside the CCX 400, 500, 505 and 600.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly CCX 700
What is the difference between part numbers 2200-49750-025 and 2200-49740-025?
The handset. Poly's own CCX 700 datasheet lists 2200-49750-025 (HP SKU 82Z83AA) as the CCX 700 Open SIP PoE build with handset, and 2200-49740-025 as the same phone without handset. The consoles are otherwise identical — same 7-inch touchscreen, same 4 MP camera, same audio and connectivity. The handset-less build is smaller and lighter, 19.0 x 21.7 x 6.0 cm and 1.32 kg against 26.3 x 21.7 x 6.0 cm and 2.05 kg. This listing is the with handset build; the handset-less build, part number 2200-49740-025 is listed separately.
Which build should I order?
Order the handset build for a conventional executive or management desk where the user picks up a handset. Order the handset-less build for headset-only positions — contact-centre seats, trading desks, and any position where the handset cradle is simply taking up desk space. Both support the dedicated RJ-9 headset port plus USB and Bluetooth headsets. If in doubt, tell us how the user works and we will recommend the build.
Is the Poly CCX 700 certified for Microsoft Teams?
No. Microsoft's certified Teams hardware list covers the Poly CCX 350, CCX 400, CCX 500, CCX 505 and CCX 600; the CCX 700 is not on it, and Poly's CCX Teams Edition documentation covers the CCX 350 to CCX 600 only. The CCX 700 is an Open SIP model. If you need a Teams-certified desk phone, see the CCX 350 for Microsoft Teams. The CCX 700 does support Microsoft Exchange calendaring, which is not the same thing as Teams certification.
Does the CCX 700 have optical zoom?
No. Poly specifies a 4x electronic zoom, of which 1.4x is lossless. There is no optical zoom on this model. The camera itself is 4 megapixel with autofocus from 8 cm to infinity, shooting 1080p at 30 fps with automatic exposure and white balance, and it has a physical privacy shutter.
What PoE class does the CCX 700 need?
IEEE 802.3at Class 4, 25 W maximum — noticeably more than a standard desk phone. This matters: an access switch port budgeted for a 13 W 802.3af phone such as the Poly Edge E350 will not power a CCX 700. Confirm the switch PoE budget before ordering, particularly if you are replacing 802.3af phones one-for-one across a floor.
How does the CCX 700 compare with the CCX 600?
The camera. The CCX 600 Open SIP is the same class of business media phone without an integrated camera, and it is Microsoft Teams certified where the CCX 700 is not. Choose the CCX 700 where desktop video from the phone itself is the requirement and the platform is Open SIP; choose the CCX 600 where video is handled on the laptop, or where Teams certification is needed.
Is the CCX 700 still current, and is stock constrained?
HP has not published a formal end-of-sale notice for the CCX 700 and it remains a software-supported model in Poly's CCX release stream. That said, HP has withdrawn its standalone product page for this model while keeping pages for the rest of the CCX line, and routes it through a contact-sales enquiry instead. In practice availability is constrained. If you are standardising a floor on the CCX 700, talk to us early about quantities and lead times rather than ordering in stages.
Does the Poly CCX 700 come with a Singapore warranty and GST invoice?
Yes. Every Poly CCX 700 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
