This is the Open SIP edition, built on standards-based SIP so it registers against a broad range of hosted and on-premise platforms — the usual Singapore mix of SIP trunking providers, cloud PBX services and on-site IP-PBX systems. Provisioning follows the standard Poly UC methods (DHCP option, provisioning server URL and configuration files), so it drops into an existing Poly UC estate without a separate management stack.

Headsets and peripherals

Integrated Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless headsets, one USB 2.0 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-C port, a dedicated RJ-9 headset port and EHS support. Integrated Wi-Fi is not part of the CCX 500 — for that, see the CCX 505 Open SIP.

Operating system and software

HP lists this model as running Android 9. Firmware and configuration updates are delivered through your provisioning server or through Poly Lens.

Poly Lens device management

The Poly CCX 350, 400, 500, 505, 600 and 700 are all listed as supported devices in Poly Lens, HP's cloud device-management service. Lens gives IT a single place to see deployed phones, push firmware and configuration, and monitor device health across the fleet — useful for Singapore offices standardising on one desk phone across several sites.

What does Open SIP mean in practice?

It means the phone is not tied to one vendor's cloud. It registers to standards-based SIP platforms — hosted cloud PBX, SIP trunking services or an on-premise IP-PBX — and provisions through standard Poly UC configuration files.

What is the difference between the CCX 500 and CCX 505 Open SIP?

The CCX 505 Open SIP adds integrated Wi-Fi on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The display, Bluetooth 4.2, dual USB ports and 802.3af PoE are common to both models.

Does it support Bluetooth headsets?

Yes, via integrated Bluetooth 4.2. Wired headsets connect through the RJ-9 port or USB, and EHS is supported.

How does it compare with the CCX 400 Open SIP?

The CCX 400 Open SIP shares the 5-inch touchscreen and supports up to 24 SIP registrations, but has no integrated Bluetooth and only one USB Type-A port. The CCX 500 adds Bluetooth 4.2 and a USB Type-C port.

Is a power supply included?

The phone is powered by built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 0) at 13 W maximum. An optional external supply rated 48 V DC @ 0.52 A is available separately where the desk has no PoE.

This listing shows a Polycom part number only — is that correct?

Yes. This is the legacy Polycom SKU 2200-49710-025. Poly products carry a dual numbering scheme and some listings pre-date the HP SKU. If you need the current HP SKU on your purchase order, ask us and we will confirm it before invoicing.

Does this phone come with a Singapore warranty?

Yes. Every Poly CCX 500 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
