Poly CCX 400 Desktop Business Media IP Phone MS Teams
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Poly CCX 400 Desktop Business Media IP Phone for Microsoft Teams (848Z8AA) - Local Warranty
Poly CCX 400 Business Media Phone for Microsoft Teams
The Poly CCX 400 is the touchscreen workhorse of the CCX range for Microsoft Teams: a 5-inch 720 x 1280 colour LCD with a gesture-based, multitouch-capable capacitive touchscreen, Poly HD Voice audio and single-cable 802.3af PoE deployment. It is the natural standard desk phone for a Teams-first Singapore office that wants a full touch interface at mainstream cost.
5-Inch Multitouch Teams Interface
The 720 x 1280 pixel, 9:16 display runs the native Microsoft Teams interface with gesture-based multitouch, so joining meetings, transferring calls and searching the directory works the way users already expect from the Teams app on their phone or PC.
Poly HD Voice with Acoustic Fence and NoiseBlock AI
Poly HD Voice and Poly Acoustic Clarity handle full-duplex conversation, echo cancellation and noise suppression. Poly Acoustic Fence works on the handset and wired headset paths to keep surrounding voices out of your call, while Poly NoiseBlock AI cleans up the speakerphone — genuinely useful on an open-plan floor. Codec support covers G.711, G.722 (HD Voice), G.722.1, G.729AB, iLBC and OPUS.
Gigabit Switch, USB-A and PoE
A two-port gigabit Ethernet switch shares one desk network drop between the phone and the user's PC across LAN and PC ports. A USB 2.0 Type-A port and a dedicated RJ-9 headset port with EHS support handle peripherals, and built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af PoE at 13 W maximum powers the phone over the same cable.
Ideal For Everyday Teams Desks
The CCX 400 fits general office desks, hot desks and shared workstations on Microsoft Teams that want a responsive touchscreen phone with premium Poly audio and no desk power brick.

Compatibility & Software Support
Platform and certification
This is the native Microsoft Teams edition. HP certifies the CCX range for Microsoft Teams, and the phone runs a dedicated Teams interface rather than a SIP softkey UI — sign-in, calls, contacts, voicemail and calendar all come from the Teams service. It is provisioned and licensed like any other Teams phone, through Microsoft Teams admin centre and a Teams Phone licence on the user account.
Headsets and peripherals
Wired headsets connect through the dedicated RJ-9 port, with an EHS adapter port for supported electronic hook switch headsets, and the phone is hearing-aid compatible. One USB 2.0 Type-A port is available. HP's CCX 400 datasheet does not list integrated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi — for a phone with built-in Bluetooth choose the CCX 500, and for Bluetooth plus Wi-Fi the CCX 505 or CCX 600.
Operating system and software
HP lists this model as running Android 9. Firmware and configuration updates are delivered through your provisioning server or through Poly Lens.
Poly Lens device management
The Poly CCX 350, 400, 500, 505, 600 and 700 are all listed as supported devices in Poly Lens, HP's cloud device-management service. Lens gives IT a single place to see deployed phones, push firmware and configuration, and monitor device health across the fleet — useful for Singapore offices standardising on one desk phone across several sites.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly CCX 400
What is the difference between the CCX 400 Microsoft Teams and Open SIP versions?
Same hardware, different edition. This listing is the native Microsoft Teams edition and signs in to the Teams service. The CCX 400 Open SIP (849A1AA) runs standards-based SIP and registers to a hosted or on-premise PBX, supporting up to 24 SIP registrations.
Does the Poly CCX 400 have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi?
No. HP's CCX 400 datasheet does not list integrated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. If you need a wireless headset paired to the phone, the CCX 500 adds Bluetooth 4.2, and the CCX 505 adds Bluetooth 4.2 plus integrated Wi-Fi.
How does the CCX 400 compare with the CCX 350?
The CCX 350 has a 2.8-inch 640 x 480 colour LCD and a USB Type-C port; the CCX 400 steps up to a 5-inch 720 x 1280 multitouch touchscreen with a USB Type-A port and adds Acoustic Fence and NoiseBlock AI.
Is a PoE switch required?
The phone has built-in auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af PoE and draws 13 W maximum, so a standard PoE switch or injector powers it over the network cable. An external power adapter is available separately if the desk has no PoE.
Can the phone and PC share one network point?
Yes. The two-port gigabit Ethernet switch runs 10/100/1000BASE-TX across the LAN and PC ports, so one desk drop serves both.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. The phone ships with a desk stand, and a wall mount kit is available separately.
Does this phone come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Poly CCX 400 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
