PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Logitech GROUP ConferenceCam (960-001054) - 2 Years Local Warranty
Full HD Conference Camera and Speakerphone for Rooms of 14 to 20 People
Logitech GROUP is a two-piece USB conferencing system — a motorised PTZ camera and a 360° full-duplex speakerphone joined by a powered hub — designed by Logitech for mid-to-large meeting rooms seating 14 to 20 people. The camera goes at the display, the speakerphone goes on the table, and a single USB 2.0 cable runs to the room computer. It remains one of the most cost-effective ways to bring a Singapore boardroom onto video without committing to a full room-appliance deployment.
10x HD Zoom PTZ Camera with Motorised Pan and Tilt
A 3 MP sensor delivers Full HD 1080p at 30 fps with H.264 UVC 1.5 and Scalable Video Coding, so the camera does the compression work rather than the PC. Zoom is 10x HD — Logitech’s spec hub breaks this down as 5x optical plus 2x digital, which is how we quote it rather than calling the full 10x optical. The field of view is 90° diagonal at the wide end and 22° at the tele end, pan and tilt are genuinely motorised, five camera presets are stored, and far-end camera control is supported on platforms that allow it.
360° Speakerphone with Four Beamforming Microphones and 6 m Pickup
The speakerphone carries four omnidirectional, noise-cancelling beamforming microphones covering a 6 m (20 ft) conversation diameter, with acoustic echo cancellation and noise reduction. Microphone response runs 100 Hz to 11 kHz and the speaker reaches 91 dB SPL maximum across 120 Hz to 14 kHz. Add the optional GROUP Expansion Mics and the coverage extends to 8.5 m (28 ft), which Logitech rates for up to 20 people in one large room. A 2.4-inch LCD on the speakerphone shows call status and camera control.
Bluetooth and NFC Pairing, 5 m Component Cables, Wall or Table Mount
Beyond USB, GROUP pairs over Bluetooth 4.0 with NFC one-touch pairing at up to 10 m, so a phone can use the speakerphone for audio-only calls. Two 5 m Mini-DIN-6 cables connect the camera and speakerphone to the powered hub, with optional 10 m and 15 m extension cables available if the room is larger. A dual-purpose bracket handles either wall mounting or tabletop elevation, and Velcro is supplied for cable and hub management.

What part number 960-001054 covers
Logitech’s own datasheet lists 960-001054 as the base GROUP system — camera, speakerphone, hub, remote and mount. The GROUP Expansion Mics (989-000171) are listed separately and are not included at this part number; Logitech publishes 960-001060 as the factory bundle that includes them. If you need the expansion mics, add them to your order.
Regional part numbers
Logitech’s EMEA datasheets list the same product as 960-001057 (EAN 5099206062528). 960-001054 is the part number shown on Logitech’s Singapore product page and is correct for this market. The hardware is identical; only the regional SKU and power plugs differ.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech GROUP
Does this part number include the GROUP Expansion Mics?
No. Logitech lists 960-001054 as the base GROUP system: camera, speakerphone, powered hub, remote and mount. The GROUP Expansion Mics (989-000171) are a separate item, sold as a pair. Logitech does publish a factory bundle part number, 960-001060, that includes them — ask SourceIT if you would prefer to order that way.
What room size does GROUP suit?
Logitech rates it for mid-to-large meeting rooms of 14 to 20 people, with a 6 m conversation diameter around the speakerphone. Adding the expansion mics extends pickup to 8.5 m, which Logitech rates for up to 20 people in one large room. For a room much larger than that, a modular Rally Plus system with multiple mic pods is the better fit.
Is the 10x zoom optical?
Half of it. Logitech’s spec hub states the 10x HD zoom is 5x optical plus 2x digital. Marketing copy sometimes says “10x lossless HD zoom”, but no Logitech source claims 10x optical. Pan and tilt, however, are genuinely motorised.
Do I need a room PC or a Teams Rooms licence?
GROUP is a USB peripheral, so it needs a host computer — a laptop for ad-hoc use, or a dedicated room PC for a permanently signed-in room. It is not an appliance and runs no room software of its own. Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms licences, if you want them, are bought from Microsoft or Zoom. For a PC-free room, look at Rally Bar or RoomMate with Tap IP.
How do I cover a room bigger than the supplied 5 m cables allow?
Logitech makes two extension cables: the 10 M cable (939-001487) and the 15 M cable (939-001490), the latter with an in-line repeater and plenum rating. Either can be used to the camera or the speakerphone.
How does GROUP compare with MeetUp or Rally Bar?
GROUP separates the camera and the speakerphone, which is its advantage in a long room — the microphones sit on the table rather than at the display. MeetUp is a single all-in-one bar for smaller rooms with a much simpler install, and Rally Bar adds 4K, built-in compute and appliance-mode operation with no room PC. GROUP is 1080p and USB-only, and is chosen today mainly on price and on table-mic placement.
Is GROUP still available, or has it been discontinued?
As of this writing Logitech has published no end-of-sale or end-of-life notice for GROUP, and it is not listed on Logitech’s end-of-sale page. That said, Logitech has clearly de-emphasised it — the Singapore product page now shows “find a reseller” rather than a buy button. Availability can change quickly, so check current stock with SourceIT before you standardise on it for a multi-room rollout.
Does the Logitech GROUP come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Logitech GROUP sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
